At first glance, it appears to be a shallow, silly game with lots of action and eye candy. But it's also a relatively complex sports game requiring just the right mix of skill and reflexes.

An absolute must-buy to any fan of turn-based strategy or real-time strategy. The mechanics are sound, the atmosphere is spot-on, and the scale of the battles is truly epic.

While it's clear that Microsoft Game Studios isn't quite ready to overtake EA or Sega on the gridiron, there's no denying that they've made it a three-man race.

Being that the game is really just a direct port of the Dreamcast version, I obviously would not recommend it to those who own the Dreamcast version.
