Another flaw with the game is it's lack of A.I. I'm not talking about the computer controlled characters, but rather the unfairness that occurs throughout any standard 4 player match.

Outside of some lethargic controls, there is definitely some fun to be had with this brawler.

A no-brainer recommendation. The story moves along nicely, and the battles load quickly and provide you with enough strategy to stay reasonably interesting.

Red Faction II does an excellent job combining the crucial elements of a first person shooter, but if you don't look at the box cover you could reasonably get this game confused with almost any other FPS in a modern setting.

The bottom line is that EA has made nothing but vast improvements with this version of the NBA Live series.

It takes the absolute best of all worlds – features, gameplay, presentation – and puts them in one game. Someone finally removed the flaws from the best games and made one with all the highlights, and that evolution has produced one of the best first person shooters ever.

One of the most fantastic things about the multiplayer mode is the complete absence of any slowdown, even when things are getting insanely wild with all four players and the military mixing it up on the screen.

The bottom line is a basketball game that has almost airtight controls, wonderful graphics, along with the most immersed franchise mode you can find, (outside of working for your local team’s front office) can only described as a finely tuned and polished basketball game worth buying no matter what system you own.

Horrendous, horribly, horribly frustrating later level designs, which totally ruin any love I previously had for the game.

Those who just love people simulations need to rush out and give this game a try.

Quite simply, the best arcade racer in years and a worthy follow-up to its PlayStation granddaddy...if you have a PS2, that is.

If you own an Xbox, however, "Project Gotham Racing" and "Sega GT 2002" take advantage of the hardware's capabilities far better than NFS: HP2.

The GameCube version's tracks aren't as vibrant as PS2 or Xbox, and this is a bit of a puzzle. Blurry backgrounds hurt Nintendo's offering severely, but not as bad as the chuggy, sluggish framerate.

The plot remains as bland as that of its predecessor, and the characters are equally forgettable.

The game isn’t about guns, action, blood and mayhem. It’s a game dealing with stealth in its purest form.

It’s the best that the genre has to offer thus far, and with a new detailed mapmaker, new weaponry and exceptional graphics, sound and game play.

Quick fun whenever you want it, regardless of skill or time investment.

There are a butt load of better racers on the PlayStation 2 that are worth your time and money.

Run Like Hell goes from easy to very hard and stays boring and derivative all the way through.

Like last years build, the pace of the game is just way too slow to realistically simulate the pace of an NBA basketball game. Unless of course you’re the Knicks or the Cavaliers.
