It's a solid game, but with EA's "NCAA Football 2003" in stores there's no need to pick it up.
-
NCAA 2K3 still doesn't quite reach the level of quality found in EA Sports' "NCAA Football 2003," which offers more in-depth features and is an overall better representation of the college football experience.
-
Xbox Nation MagazineIt's realism in terms of actual gameplay that NCAA 2K3 lacks. [Fall 2002, p.117]
-
While the finished product isn't a terrible game by any means, the high standard that was set by the office favorite and EA Sports creation, "NCAA Football 2003" just can't be matched.
-
GameNowImproved, but still trails EA's "NCAA 2003" in every conceivable department. [Sept 2002, p.52]
-
A half assed attempt at a college football game that is only playable because it has so much of "NFL 2K3" enrooted in its core.
-
You'll see a lot of poor passes (regardless of your quarterback choice), poor tackling (even for a computer-controlled player), hot and cold A.I. and many, many wide open receivers dropping balls. This is probably the most frustrating aspect of NCAA 2k3.

JoeB.Nov 16, 2002This game is great. But, Ncaa Football 2003 is even better. The gameplay, sounds, and the graphics.
