    Overall, I think it's a decent enough family title from Activision, but not quite as enjoyable as the last one I played from this Publisher, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.

    With legendary game developer Warren Spector overseeing the game and iterating upon the things that worked in the first game while fixing those that didn't, I had high hopes this sequel would be one of the great games of the holiday. Unfortunately the end result is a game that I like even less than the original. There's a reason you'll see this game on sale at retailers already – it's not all that enjoyable. Buy with caution.

    It could be worse, I guess. Gear.Club Unlimited 2 could’ve suffered from the same fate as Asphalt Injection and been grind-heavy and ugly. Instead, you’ve got a game that’s just grind-heavy and boring. It works, which is nice, but with these load times, working feels like the least the game should do. The best games have some kind of exciting spark to them, and that’s one thing Gear.Club Unlimited 2 completely lacks.

    If you’re a fan of Ghosts’n Goblins, maybe an unbalanced challenge is what you’re after? Still, it’s hard not to feel like there are other, better ways of scratching that particular itch than with Swords & Bones.

    It all makes you wish that there was nothing notable about Death or Treat, so that you could just write it off completely. But it's hard not to go back to that intro cutscene and see how much care went into creating it, and then wondering what went wrong. It makes you conclude that these developers might have a great game in them, it's just definitely not this one.

    Robotech Invasion is about the fight against the Invid, and that puts the game in competition with every other futuristic shooter instead of playing to the strengths of the series: big robots that switch into planes and fire scores of side winding missiles.

    A studio like Piranha Bytes lasted decades despite churning out awful games, simply because there was something endearing about a bad game making an effort to be good. Anyone who misses that studio can take solace in the fact that Of Ash and Steel is continuing its legacy. But if you do, just be mindful that it is, at heart, a bad game.

    The gameplay feels like someone tried to mix the gameplay of "Super Smash Brothers" with that of a more traditional 3D fighter and gave up half-way through, while the design of story mode is likely confusing and potentially frustrating for the younger crowd.

    I'm disappointed to say that I didn't care for Army Corps of Hell as much as I had hoped. A lot of the early stuff released about the game prior to the Vita looked pretty great, but I find the execution lacking. It's not entirely devoid of fun, but it's hard to get a great deal of enjoyment out of this when other, very similar titles, have done so much more with the idea.

    Aegis of Earth: Protonovus Assault is perfectly serviceable, I guess, if that's all you're looking for, but if you want any more than that — say, if you want a game that really does have a neat new twist on the tower defense formula — it'll just end up disappointing you.

    Game play is where Driv3r really falls short. The controls are a bit fidgety and on the loose side. This is especially noticeable on foot, as it just plays so awkwardly. No matter what control scheme you choose, it just never feels comfortable.
