I’d be lying if I said I enjoyed Rover Mechanic Simulator as much as I do some of those other simulators. It’s harder to get in one of those grooves where you just lose all track of time – and not being able to do that means you’re constantly aware that you’re just completing mundane, time-consuming tasks over and over again. That might be the joy of some of the better simulators, but here it just feels like a chore.- Gaming Age

CastleStorm Definitive Edition is a fun game, but playing it in VR is something I cannot recommend. If you already have the original release, then you are gaining nothing with the VR version. This feels more like it could have been added to the original release as DLC rather than being it's own download. If you are really hurting for more VR games in your life, this might fill some kind of void, but there are much better offerings than this.- Gaming Age

The animations are far from being fluid, and the PS2 version of High Heat suffers from some severe slow downs during gameplay.- Gaming Age

I had a hard time pulling myself away from the RoC mode, even though my instincts were telling me I was tired of playing it. It has that kind of affect on you, even though it's only a slightly above average race engine.- Gaming Age

The relatively mediocre DS version of his puzzler will most likely be the only exposure that most gamers will get to what feels like an amazing design.- Gaming Age

I got used to the game. I even finished it. This was partly because I learned how to compensate for the game's shortcomings but it was largely due to the fact that it's a lot of fun.- Gaming Age

More time has been spent on making sure Project Eden included as many smart, engaging puzzles as possible, rather than incorporating half a billion polygons and the latest in vector shading techniques.- Gaming Age

Metal Gear Acid is a decent tactical card battling game, but it is not a true Metal Gear title, and for me I expect no less.- Gaming Age

A slightly above average romp on home consoles that won't be too challenging for the age group of 13 and above.- Gaming Age

This pack contains games that may not appeal to a lot of gamers, but with every classic collection, there are bound to be a few unappealing titles. I would recommend this pack if you are collecting them all in order to get the bonus games that will be revealed when you do. If you aren't, then this pack does contain 2 games that are worth skipping, and it is the first pack of games that left me somewhat disappointed. I highly suggest trying these games out before buying the pack. With Legendary Wings being the only one worth time and money, you may want to wait for the next pack.- Gaming Age

As it stands, you really only need to play each character once to check out their special moves, say “cool”, and move on. Great license, great production values, and a mediocre fighter, that pretty much sums it up.- Gaming Age

The lack of depth in the single player and the short variety of the multiplayer games will be hard to grasp to anyone who is not looking for that next party title for the Wii. With possibly more mini games, and especially more lengthy addicting games, EA Playground could see a second life.- Gaming Age

If the gameplay was a little more involved, with less button bashing and greater emphasis on using combos for effectiveness, it would provide a more fufilling experience.- Gaming Age

It’s hardly the worst thing in the world to be a reasonably okay Mega Man clone, but given that the originals are readily available on most platforms, it’s hard to know why you’d want to play Metagal over any of those.- Gaming Age

Raji: An Ancient Epic is a gorgeous game, and it would be nice to be able to appreciate everything about it. As it stands, though, it’s the equivalent of the prettiest box you’ve ever seen containing an utterly forgettable present.- Gaming Age

The GameCube version's tracks aren't as vibrant as PS2 or Xbox, and this is a bit of a puzzle. Blurry backgrounds hurt Nintendo's offering severely, but not as bad as the chuggy, sluggish framerate.- Gaming Age

In terms of gameplay and visuals, there’s not anything here you haven’t seen countless times before. Like all the other KEMCO JRPGs, Asdivine Hearts II borrows heavily from 25-30 years ago, and doesn’t do anything beyond that. It doesn’t do that badly, to be sure, but unless you’re a diehard fan of the series, I think you’d be hard-pressed to look at this game and see anything distinctive.- Gaming Age

The writing isn't half-bad, and Cassie makes for an appropriately spunky heroine. However, the crucial ingredient would be for the game to be on VR, where it could come closer to its ideal of sensory deprivation to offer a genuinely frightening — rather than frustrating — experience. However, Deep End Games have already nixed that idea, which means that what you're left with is a whole bunch of frustratingly squandered promise.- Gaming Age

I can’t say I didn’t have oodles of fun with X Games; it just didn’t last too long. Boredom grew on me after a few runs through, and shamefully wouldn’t have with a few more features thrown in along with better visuals.- Gaming Age
