A really good RTS game that will capture your imagination as you try to become victorious over your foes.

Neopets: The Darkest Faerie’s standout flaw is that it isn’t very exciting. It should’ve been with its Zelda-inspired combat, massive worlds, lots of scavenger hunting, etc., among other interesting and highly promising features.

The melee combat is easy to control and the ability to use the wide assortment of everyday items as weapons never gets old. The only concern I have with the gameplay is the repetitive nature of how the levels play out.

An excellent skating game despite the fact that there’s very little that distinguishes this from the other console versions.

One of the most impressive handheld versions of the Tony Hawk series to come to the portable gaming format, Tony Hawk’s American Sk8land is a true thrasher classic.

The controls are handled nicely enough and the tracks are designed well enough. Too bad the Career mode is over a bit too quickly.

Everything about this game is really nice, yet it feels like a current generation game with a higher resolution.

Only big fans of the Dynasty Warriors franchise will find something worth playing (if only temporarily). If you have never touched a DW title before, there are a half-dozen predecessors to this one that deserve more of your attention.

After playing through it once, I was left feeling a little disappointed. GUN is still a fun adventure, but lacks in some elements that could have made it a real hit.

Live 06 on the 360 comes out of the gate as a rush job in order to make the system’s launch, and is ultimately a disappointment, one that surely doesn’t warrant its $60 asking price. Wait for 07.

While it is a lot prettier than the other console versions, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 for the Xbox 360 feels like a rushed production that plays well enough but still not up to the standards of the new console.

Its lack of variety in the game mode department will turn off those gamers who love the FIFA Soccer series but at least it plays well enough to keep soccer fans busy until next year’s game.

The decision is a no-brainer for people who don’t already own it on the Xbox or PS2, but for those who have played it before, the slick presentation just might not be enough to warrant an upgrade.

Tears of Blood manages to hook fans of the genre with its gorgeous style and great story. It’s not as epic as the Final Fantasy games but it is still well worth playing.

Hardcore snowboarding fans will find it too easy while casual gamers will hate the forced style. The style and cutscenes I found refreshening [sic].

Easily the most fun racing game currently available on Xbox 360.

A real blast to play and some of the most fun I have had playing a Madden game in a while. The bad thing is that in order to ship this game out on time a lot of features that are normally in this game, and in other versions, have been cut.

The hunting and stalking elements are completely removed from the series and thus making Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2 a shooter with very little substance or redeemable qualities.

With the exception of the bugs that I mentioned, this game is compelling. When you feel the need to play a game in any spare moment (bugs and all) you know that it's a good game.

Old-school charm aside, the game’s story, characters and loads of goodies are enough to hook anyone interested in a role-playing game with a lot of heart.

The average graphics and sound weigh down Starship Troopers. The ability to fight swarms of enemies is entertaining at first, but it can be a problem at times. Losing because the enemies attacked faster than you can kill them or because you looked the wrong direction for a second and a half can be frustrating.

The action comes at you with both barrels blazing and never lets up. With crude humor, a "B" movie plot and lots and lots of guns, this is a zombie fan's dream.

The blend of cel-shading with the more realistic, yet light-hearted, world works really well.

The story mode has really nice hooks in it that will keep players wanting to keep playing until they know what happens in the end.

A game with ridiculous physics, hard-to-master controls and a repetitious event scheme.

A note to aspiring developers: DO NOT give players the freedom to do what they want if you’re going to punish them for it later!

Had the translation and control problems been adjusted, Heroes could have been an exceptional experience. As it stands, this game will probably only fill the void for serious role-playing fanatics.

A clear-cut Q&A title. Its clunky setup and substandard auditory value make it one of the less flamboyant of trivia games, and unless you’re one of those people who must own everything Friends, I see no reason why anyone would want this in their collection.
