The scenarios are both challenging and interesting and there’s even some CSI-like crime scene investigating.

Not so much a game as an experience. Simply put, it's emotional, exciting, scary at times, and terribly fun.

Games like Echochrome only come around in a great while, completely devoid of anything controversial, yet full of gameplay and challenge that other games wish they had.

There are some deficiencies in this game – most notably, how to equip a weapon without jumping through all the hoops the game has to offer.

Presentation-wise, I think you’ll find a good amount to like here. The sound effects are spot-on, including the way the ball-to-paddle tone will vastly diverge for dramatic effect during a high-count rally. The visuals are a tad on the shiny and plastic look, but nevertheless they’re very well done, with superb lighting, texturing, and animations. Not much to complain about here.

Stronghold is an intriguing and ‘fresh’ perspective on the civilization genre. It is filled with great graphical elements and sound, and plays well. This is a solid and enjoyable outing.

Sure, it’s an arcade-style game, but you will invest time with the career mode and the gameplay is fluid and fun, the graphics are wonderfully realized and the control scheme is easy to understand.

Nothing more than a slight improvement over the other console edition. Having said that, if you’ve always wanted to give the Sims a try and haven’t played the older version, this is definitely the version to pick up.
