Linear levels and some suspect AI (mobs that run at you until either they or you are dead) detract a bit from the game, but the controls are intuitive and there is a diverse amount of weapons and vehicles you can use to liven up the game. The pacing is great.- GameZone

While the GameCube version isn't as complete as the Xbox version, the overall quality of the gameplay is intact and the Cube exclusives are an excellent touch and worth the price of admission.- GameZone

While the jump from the new Easy mode to the standard Normal difficulty is a bit too sharp, the game still does a fantastic job of capitalizing on the series’ best elements. If you enjoyed the franchise’s old-school reboot last year, then you owe it to yourself to pick this one up as well.- GameZone

There’s no doubt that Korg DS-10 Plus is more application than game, but this speaks more to the intended audience rather than the quality of the product itself. Musicians will be hard-pressed to find a better piece of software for their DS.- GameZone

The melee combat is easy to control and the ability to use the wide assortment of everyday items as weapons never gets old. The only concern I have with the gameplay is the repetitive nature of how the levels play out.- GameZone

This is Tony Hawk and that means pulling off sick tricks and working your way up the rankings to show you are a top boarder. There is a lot of challenge here and some new features that should please fans of the series.- GameZone

This is the best version of the NBA 2k series in a long time. It’s a fresh breath of air and I am glad to see where the series is heading.- GameZone

The environments are looking a little dated, graphically, but the swing mechanics are terrific and the game is a lot of fun, from the moment you tee off in your first PGA event to the host of mini games, to the team elements.- GameZone

Basketball in its most realistic, exciting, and entertaining form. The controls and seamless player interactions make NBA 2K8 an instant showstopper – deep gameplay and high replay value provide the longevity you’ve come to expect (and demand) from 2K Sports.- GameZone

With World Adventures, the Sims 3 receives one of its greatest expansions. If you’re a fan of the original, there’s little doubt that you’ll want this in your collection.- GameZone

A great game that will truly be appreciated by FPS purists like myself who remember the good old days where all you needed was a bunch of ammo, some nasty monsters, periodic powerups, and an itchy trigger finger to get you from the beginning of the stage to the end.- GameZone

While the game is extremely simplistic and little more than a collection of many minigames, the action is fast-paced and addicting and should provide hours of mindless entertainment.- GameZone

The online interface is a little cumbersome, and the game does have some load times. Get past that and you will be treated to a wonderful hockey experience that sparkles with smart AI, terrific control schemes and great action.- GameZone

Torchlight is probably the closest thing to a Diablo experience on the Xbox 360. The perfectly translated controls and addictive gameplay makes this a must-buy for anyone with an affinity for loot hoarding. If anything, it serves as a great appetizer for the much-anticipated sequel.- GameZone

Though the options and settings seem endless, it can be a little daunting at first. There are a lot of helpful hints on what you should do, but not a whole lot on how to execute them.- GameZone

There’s tons of play time with 34 different scenarios, and the ability to modify existing ones or create your own (plus multiplayer) just adds to the replay value of the game. The downside is that the game is also extremely confusing and challenging due to the detail.- GameZone

Played as a single-player game or with a hunting party composed of friends, this is Monster Hunter game that gives even the console original a run for its money. Unite doesn’t really change the story introduced in the last Monster Hunter game but there are more missions and extras to make this a much bigger game.- GameZone
