Not enough has changed for gamers to pick up the latest version of FIFA Soccer. It has regressed in the majority of the areas while the next-gen versions have catapulted ahead in quality. Avoid the PS2 version and move onto the 360 or PS3 version.

Looks great, plays well, but is fairly typical of the action/arcade genre.

A huge increase in the league count allows you to play as tons of new teams as well as partake in more than 50 different tournaments. The ball physics have been greatly improved, feeling more realistic than ever. The Be-A-Pro mode is a great, albeit very limited, addition.

An intelligent, deep and enjoyable game that takes the 'play, create, share' initiative and runs with it. Fun, entertaining, a pleasure to look at and create in – MNR raises the bar for the genre.

It might be too simple to call Enslaved: Odyssey to the West a melee-centric Uncharted, but it is not that far off and it is certainly not a bad thing.

Telltale finishes Strong Bad’s Cool Game 4 Attractive People with a bang as 8-Bit Is Enough is hands-down the strongest episode out of the bunch.

A solid RTS on the Xbox 360, Halo Wars may not break the mold, but it does provide an impressive entry to the series and one that finally makes the genre feel at home on a console.

Any military FPS fan will absolutely love this game. The graphics and sound are top notch, and the multiplayer experience is second to none. For a MSRP of 40 bucks and no subscription fee, any fan of the genre will consider this a must have and well worth the money.

The game is entertaining and a visual treat. The development team did a good job building on the original title, tweaking what needed to be tweaked and leaving the core mechanics intact. If you are looking for a solid, off-road racer, this is a good bet.

From the spark of a parried attack, to the whirr of a blurred blade slashing through the air and a kick that knocks opponents back and off-balance so the killing blow can be struck, this game is a visual delight.

Truly a delight to play. I found myself going back and forth from RPG to RTS. It's a great dilemma to have.

A solid, entertaining slice of dual-genre pie. I like the puzzle fighting, I liked the plot, I liked the game.

A surprisingly excellent GBA game with plenty of lengthy levels and ninja action that will bring to mind those great classic platform games of the old days.

I really enjoyed the create-a-chant option and Team Unity adds to the simulation experience by measuring how the team works together. It has the most solid gameplay system I have ever experienced in a basketball game.

de Blob is a fantastic experience, but one that I wish had more depth and challenge. I think this is the start of a great franchise (game, toys, or TV show) and one that will surely improve in its next iteration.

More of a stealth game than anything else, Hitman: Blood Money serves up a familiar taste of assassin gameplay with new features to spice it up.

Rising above its flaws, Saint’s Row 2 is an addictively over-the-top sequel that proves that bigger is definitely better. With more side missions, deeper customization features, more vehicles and bigger environments, its easy to overlook the glaring flaws that do pop up on the PS3 version. In other words, a bus ride to Stillwater is definitely in order.

If you’re buying the game for its single player campaign, you’re making a big mistake. Battlefront falls apart when it comes to the single player game but doesn’t fail in bringing the online multiplayer action we’ve been dying for ever LucasArts started designing Star Wars games.

It would have been nice to be able to get up from the captains chair every now and then to walk around the bridge while your commanding your crew, or have the option to meet up with temporarily allied forces in places other then your super-glued captains chair vantage point.

On single-player, Blur is an average racing game with a powered-up twist. Repeating races and receiving beautiful cars that remain untouched due to the lack of customization gets old fast. The outdated rave-vibe, including the music and menus, don’t do the presentation any favors either. As a multiplayer title, Blur is absolutely exhilarating.
