The level design leaves a lot to be desired.

Accessible interface allows younger players to pick up and play. The game does seem to lack a lot of diversity and save points can be a problem in that you have to accomplish certain tasks before you have access to the save point.

There's ultimately no real purpose to this game's existence, but if you get stuck with it for Christmas, you could certainly do worse for an evening or weekend.

A lot of promise mixed in with failed execution is what riddles Aliens vs. Predator.

Shrek the Third doesn’t bring anything new to the table.

Conspiracies has a complicated story that never seems to go anywhere. It has puzzles that I felt were ridiculous, but others may find hysterical. The acting, voiceovers, environments and puzzles seemed forced, inadequate and illogical.

The controls for this game are really well done. What is not so well done is the enemy AI, seeing the crashing scenes a billion times, and not even getting to properly customize the cars yourself.

Fun for kids but much too shallow for adults, Battle of the Smithsonian is perfect for young fans of the film, if expectations are reasonable.

Excluding the removal of Superstar moves, NBA Live 08’s weak engine remains unchanged from last year’s game. The gameplay is just as slow and sluggish as it was before.

A good idea for the Wii, and one that should have worked better than it did. The control system really should have been tested more before the final release. As an intellectual experiment, Dinner Date is interesting and even profound. As a meta-narrative about the social constructs that confront the modern man, it fascinates. As a game, it barely qualifies.

This game is just not much fun. Spyro Dawn of the Dragon could have been a great game, but the game as a whole isn’t an engaging experience on the Wii. There are worthy qualities present, but they don’t succeed in raising this game above mediocrity. It’s hard to recommend this game to anyone except a die-hard Spyro fan.

If you want to jump in with the current "300-craze" and play it your way - this will sate your cravings with no regrets. However, if you have a shelf of BC themed RPG titles, you won't feel like you have anything new.

So while there are several high moments, they are few and far between.

Less successful as a game, but useful as an educational supplement.
