Year after year, players hope UEFA will be an expansion of or alternative to FIFA. But the Euro 2008 edition is what players of the last game might have expected: a slight variation, not an alternative or expansion.

Alien Breed 2: Assault stays very close to the roots of the genre, which gives it a touch of old-school charm, but it feels archaic next to newer offerings like Alien Swarm and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

A very average game that won't hold the kids' interest for long. The main adventure aspect of collecting items for characters is boring, and the mini-games are, too.

While this isn't a bad game, it isn't a good game, either. The designers went to some effort to make things different, but the end effect doesn't work.

Although it's still a fun and imaginative game no matter where you play it, there are cheaper and far superior Plants vs. Zombies offerings on almost every other platform. I'm not sure why PopCap delivered watered down audio/visuals, but the fact that they did essentially rules out the DS version for anyone with a PC, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or Xbox 360.

If you absolutely need a painting program for the PlayStation 3, you could do worse than Beat Sketchers. But the fact it has so little going for it, and at such a high price, will probably have you reaching for a clipboard and markers instead.

Seems more like a randomized assortment than a collection of “Classics,” as evidence by very notable absences.

An absolute disappointment when compared to the expectations that are attached to DLC packs that are this expensive. Kasumi – Stolen Memory needed to be longer and provide more back-story to the troubled thief.

Obviously directed towards the children here and now, the presentation and lasting appeal of EA Playground does not grab hold of any adult’s hand any more firm than a child itself.

While the use of the control scheme is innovative, X-Men: The Official Game is a pretty uninteresting experience.

This may be a good title for younger players familiar with the cartoon. It has some variety, the levels are short and the atmosphere is light.

Isn't that bad, but like the unpopular kid in school, it tries so hard to be something that it's not. In this case, it's trying to be "Crazy Taxi."

The solid foundation residually left over from the original and the new hybrid weapons system create a basically appealing package from which a decent amount of fun can be derived, but the lackluster presentation, uninspired story, outright broken multiplayer, and atrocious amount of glitches makes Dead Rising 2 less of a flawed gem and more of a somewhat polished pile that incrementally smells worse the longer you let it sit in your disc drive.

The carnage does fly in this game, only the problem is that it’s all done unrealistically. You won’t believe how easy it is to blow an enemy’s limb off or blow a head clean off even with something as simple as a .44 pistol. And seconds after you kill somebody, the body melts away to nothing.

Having a fish tank for the Wii is a good idea, but this version isn’t all that great. I was a bit disappointed, and expected it all to look much better than it does. This may just be the best that an aquarium can look on the Wii, though. Another console may display better graphics with this type of game.

Cake Mania 3 for the Nintendo DS is another serving of cake-slinging action but when it comes down to it this series still lacks the ability to keep us glued to our handheld. That said, there’s some limited fun to be had in this game but not enough to make us excited about playing this one for very long.

Though flawed, Flower, Sun and Rain offers perhaps more than one would expect from a game certain to be remembered as Suda's rookie effort. The story is shockingly original and fearless, and the game's style is irrefutably Suda. It's just a shame there isn't much of a game beneath all the ideas.

Major Minor’s Majestic March is perfect for families, especially those with very young children, trying to get into the rhythm genre – it’s short, easy, cute, and inoffensive. For the twelve-and-up crowd, though, the simplistic gameplay, dull song selections, and incredibly short length are bound to disappoint.

Aside from its repetitive nature and lack of diversity, the game has a few glitches that would have made this an occasionally fun movie tie-in game.
