Unless you're a big fan of Samurai Showdown, be careful with this one. Even if you love 2D fighting games, this one is not like Street Fighter or Guilty Gear.

Stolen could've been a good game, but the inept AI and poor controls make this game more of a chore than a fun experience.

It’s one of the most repetitive games I have ever played. It is one of the shortest DS titles available.

Sonic Rivals 2 isn’t the super-speedy racing game you’d expect from the world’s fastest blue hedgehog. Jerky levels and unwarranted slowdowns prevent the game from moving at Sonic’s true speed.

L:HoG has promise, but there’s nothing new to see or do here.

Lacking in every way this game is good only for small kids, desperate mech-fans, or fans of the series.

Reborn is a solid experience that offers up some genuinely fun FEAR moments, but paying 800 MS Points for a two hour gaming experience is definitely only for the most hardcore FEAR fans.

The tricks lack complexity and the game can be beaten in a couple of sittings. However, young ones should enjoy the fun presentation and the enjoyable multiplayer mode.

In terms of presentation, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 is a fine entry to the franchise. However, series stalwarts will begin to see the seams showing in the game's tepid storyline and bland gameplay mechanics.

Except for running through on two harder difficulties, there is little reason to play beyond the initial 20 minutes.

At World's End could have been a better game, but the repetition in battle, lack of character monologue, and its “been there, done that” gaming approach really hold this game back from being something special.

A technically weak port on the PS2, Size Matters is best left on the PSP.

An extremely short and derivative game that tries very hard to emulate God of War, but fails to be as compelling or nearly as fun to play.

The game-play potentially could have been very good, if it wasn't for the clumsy design. The bad collision is just bad programming, and should not have made it to the finished product.

It's subtle, yet dynamic.

This may be amusing to a casual gamer, or even a beginner. Replay value is negative zero.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa’s lighthearted feel and basic gameplay should appeal to younger audiences and fans of the film, but the repetitive nature and lack of challenge will likely turn everyone else off.

The fighting was fun but only to a point. After the endless battles with little variation even the fighting became tedious. Once that happened it was merely a matter of waiting for the game to end. Fortunately it was not a long wait. The game is ridiculously short.

The gameplay is adequately fun, but could have been better if the stylus possessed a greater touch sensitivity.

This is a good purchase for the Dragon’s Lair fan, especially if you have a high-def monitor or have your PC hooked to the HDTV, but it is what it is … the classic version of Dragon’s Lair, which may or may provide a lot of fun for you, depending on how big a fan you are.

Blasting holes through soldiers is great, but everything else falls short.

Marvel Super Hero Squad has a number of fun moments that work on the PSP but missing co-op and a few gameplay issues make this game a miss. That said, however, young gamers would still have a blast taking their favorite Marvel character through this decent action game. Do consider this a rental for fans of the show.

This title is too conventional for its own good. Ultimately, there’s no compelling real reason to pick this one up, unless you just have to have another fix of the vampire mythos and don’t mind gameplay that can feel more like drudgery than fun.

Justice League Heroes for the DS lacks intense battles and super heroics of the console version but at least it gives us a game with a lot of cool characters and a lot to unlock.

Scavenger hunts, space battles, joyrides through town – it's all here, and very little of it works. If you were to play each and every stage independently it might be Ok, but it's hard to get past the repetition that develops within each stage type.

This is a game that does not translate well to the tiny screen of the GBA, simply because shortcuts had to be made graphically that took out a big reason to play the Backyard titles – personality.

You cannot add cards to your deck without winning them in a long series of duels, so it wouldn't even be useful for trying to run tournaments, other than having people bring their decks on a memory card.

Nier is a missed opportunity. There are moments when the storytelling shines, but those are few and far between in a pretty drab quest-laden game with boring missions and fetch quests.
