Elements of the RTS and fighting genres will turn heads. But some will complain about the over-simplicity.

It's repetitive. Extremely repetitive. That's really all that needs to be said. I can praise the control scheme until I'm blue in the face, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the game repeats itself like a radio station with a small collection of songs.

I found myself laughing out loud on multiple occasions at various encounters, like a parrot who tells blonde and condom jokes and a private eye who scratches his crotch constantly.

The tutorials should appeal to newcomers, while experienced players will wish there was a little more to the overall experience.

It’s cool, entertaining, and strangely addictive.

The graphical elements are very well done, the animation is solid and the various challenges will keep players intrigued.

While edgy and slightly humorous, Whiplash loses its fresh platformer goodness way too early in the game.

Plays a lot like "Twisted Metal," with definite "GTA" influence. If you've played "Twisted Metal," you know what to expect: this essentially plays exactly the same. That isn't always a bad thing - I had some fun playing, but it wears thin quickly.

A good action game that actually manages to make excellent use of its license.

Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar is a fantastic farming RPG that will please fans of the series. Spending countless hours performing mundane, repetitious, farming chores may not sound like much of a gaming experience, but if you have the time and patience this is one hell of an addicting, engrossing title.

The plentiful load times kill the tension between areas.

This is an adventure game that rises above the crowd in terms of great story and immersive gameplay elements. There is just the right mix of puzzles and dialogue, plus lots of action. The atmosphere is fitting, and the animation nicely done.

For Disgaea fans who want to see the lovable prinny losers get punished over and over again due to the demanding difficulty level, I could see it being a smart purchase. Otherwise, try before buy is the best advice I can give.

Sure, the game does start off a bit sluggishly at first but when it picks up you’ll be certainly enjoying these mountains. Give this one a try if you’re looking for a more than decent snowboarding game.

Great for those who have yet to experience the Overlord series. Everyone else should pass.

The game has some disappointing quirks in play but the plot music and graphics come together perfectly.

Despite its great game modes and the amazing lineup of teams and players, World Tour Soccer 2005 doesn’t quite live up to the reputation or expectations of last years amazingly addictive game.

The best in children's games always tries to meld education with fun, and this game does that superbly, with a smooth integration of factoids about various things coupled with critical thinking activities and a fun adventure.

Nothing deep here but even though the game has very arcade-like roots, taken as a package it works. The scored missions give a reason to try to achieve a quick and efficient solution. This may not be a game that you will sit down and spend hours with, but in increments you should walk away with a smile on your face.

Even if this game wasn’t based on a film it would be a cinch to rate because Treasure Planet is all but devoid of any new ideas or unique gameplay implements. It is completely derivative of every other puzzle-solving platform game.

Orcs & Elves is a well-balanced RPG that plays well on the DS but doesn’t offer anything new or exciting we haven’t already played.

Spider-man: Web of Shadows is a great super hero game for the Xbox 360, and one of the best Spider-man games to date. Players looking for a new game to quench their super hero fix will not be disappointed.

Nier is a missed opportunity. There are moments when the storytelling shines, but those are few and far between in a pretty drab quest-laden game with boring missions and fetch quests.

For those of you who are fans of sitting down and getting wrapped up with a decent puzzler that will keep you entertained and guessing, this is one worth giving a run.
