The extra time it took to get it to market makes it look and feel outdated. It also suffers from technical problems with its 3D graphics support.

Though Steel Beasts sets new standards as a multiplayer tank sim, it is specifically focused on that area to the exclusion of all others.

Building on the fantastic gameplay of the original with new cities, cars, and racing modes, Midtown Madness 2 will blow your socks off.

Not just a great Star Trek game, but a really great game in general.

While suffering from some initial problems with a repetitive soundtrack and audio related performance issues, Crimson Skies makes up for it with strong and unique gameplay, detailed graphics, and a 1930's feeling that just won't quit.

Yet another flop for the Star Trek game franchise. Has there ever been a good one? At this point I really can't recall any. The many failures such as this one cast clouds over the possible sunrise of any good games that may have been released.

It gets very, very low marks for 'tossing down with the rest of the boys' and taking part in the cliché and amorality that most Star Trek games aspire to.

If you're a fan of "The Sims" and you don't have a copy of Livin' Large yet, you need to drop everything and go get it now.

Does not boast any huge spectacular changes from "Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings," but gives a lot of great little extras.

Although it isn’t topnotch in the gameplay department, it is faithful to the design of the X-Men and is definitely a collector’s treat.

It should leave the most seasoned adventurer hungering for more. The hack-and-slash battles and the progressive storyline should keep the most demanding RPGer happy.

While it is a great game, it doesn't rate top honors due to the many issues with Battle.net and flaky support for Windows 2000.

Good graphics, excellent documentation, and plenty of Klingon scalawags can't save "Klingon Academy," not entirely at least.

No matter how you look at it, "SimCity 3000 Unlimited" is a city full of fun.

If I wasn't afraid of the weight of the statement, I would definitely call this the greatest game ever made. Instead, I'll just say it's quite possibly and probably the greatest.

It may take some time to master and feel comfortable with the controls and movement, but the combination of genres (real-time strategy, space flight simulation, group cooperation, etc) makes it worth the effort.

Those who have enjoyed other Sim-style games will enjoy The Sims, but for others, the game may not differ enough from real life to seem interesting.

It is as addicting as ever and has taken all of the great aspects of the original and expanded on them. You will be playing this game for days, weeks, and months before you will even come close to finishing.

The smartest, best looking, all around coolest action game -- ever.

Currently my favorite pick for RPG games -- it’s one of the very few worthy titles in the genre this year. Its simpler interface doesn’t offer the detailed character development options of some titles, but I like getting into the game quickly without getting bogged down in the details of character stats.

Perhaps one of the best features of AC is its ability to support a huge number of players on each “world.” They had nearly 3500 players at the end of beta testing and though that did tax the system, that’s still a large number to even fit on one world.

The real stars of the game are the Nazi soldiers. Their reactions and behavior are unparalleled in any other PSX game. Actually, the enemy AI rivals PC games and even exceeds them in some places.

The deep and challenging gameplay will have you playing this game for weeks.

If you are any kind of space combat game fan, don't let this one get away!

The only reason I did not give this game 100 out of 100, as great as it is, is that it is a sequel. It is not a totally new idea with groundbreaking creativity and originality. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game and it already has my vote for Game of the Year.

Even though the characters aren’t as customizable as some other games, I found myself more involved molding each one so I don’t necessarily think this is a hindrance.

If you’re looking for a damn good skateboarding game, on any platform, start here.

I just can't say enough about the graphics in this game either. After you play all the way throuugh this game, you will not be able to say that you did not get your money's worth.
