Hardcore fighting fans will find depth within these hallowed halls, and casual brawlers will find the controls forgiving and fun.

In the end "X-men" is well done with many good ideas that plays just a bit too stiff for my liking.

While it has nothing on "Marvel vs. Capcom,"" Mutant Academy" plays uniquely enough to warrant a chance from fighting game aficionados, as well as from X-Men fanatics, old and new.
