Never before have I played a football game that really allows you to watch the blocking unfold in front of you (or break down) and then make your move.

The major issue is how quickly the single player mode can be completed. Within six to eight hours, most experienced players will have finished the game leaving only the multiplayer mode.

    Gun
To get the full effect of Gun, the side missions are a must as the game can be ripped through rather quickly without them. Take your time, enjoy the experience and story, and you'll be glad you did.

All in all, this is a really simple gauntlet style title, but it’s a good one, and worth playing with three of your friends.

In addition to a stunning physics engine, MX vs. ATV has really nice graphics. Well designed courses, high detail models, and simply a great attention to a nice, clean look makes this one of the nicer realistic racing titles I've seen.

Those that have been turned off by overly complex space sagas will really enjoy this perfect, “beer and pretzels” style title. Highly recommended for those who miss the simplicity, yet complex nature of the old Star Control titles.

If you’re into jacking monsters out of their XP, treasure, and items for hours on end, La Pucelle: Tactics is for you.

Finds the right balance between arcade and simulation gameplay while still delivering the classic Midway style of hockey and adding more depth to the gameplay.

The only thing I can say in particular is that I love the addition of Gem Fighter.

With all the new features and lackadaisical content, Dragons of Norrath is a fan service that caters to the crowd of loyal EQ veterans, and just about every EQ fan will be pleased with what it offers.

But the game just isn’t The Sims. You can’t just do whatever you want and the mission driven game is just a little too simplistic to be overly fun.

Def Jam succeeds by using its license to the fullest and provides a satisfying Hip Hop themed fighter.

The wrestlers themselves are strikingly similar to their real life counterparts, with both smooth animations and details. However, the audio is probably the game's low point.

For those without "Half-Life" or the motivation to download the hefty mod files, Day of Defeat is a worthwhile contender for your time.

For me, it's the depth of a game that keeps me playing it for hours and not setting the difficulty so high that you are forced to spend hours just repeating a level. I know, Capcom traditionally makes Mega Man games tough, but at some point a game has to be fun to play as well.

Prey offers solid FPS action with enough new elements to keep things interesting. As with most FPSs these days, the real action in online and Prey won’t disappoint here either.

A wonderfully addictive game, as well as a challenging new way to play strategy. Best yet, you can kick ALL of your friends' collective butts at the same time.

A sold third-person shooter but gets a little old after awhile, the game’s saving grace is its well-written plot and myriad of dialogue jokes. It’s almost like playing a Monty Python script.

But the problem is it’s a port of a very dated arcade game. The graphics are cartoony, the sound effects are more for nostalgia than any other sort of enjoyment and the game mechanics are infantile. There are a total of two buttons you use for the game.

The most interesting element of this robust racer is the trick system which uses a blend of well-timed button mashing and joystick movements to give you access to seemingly endless array of cool air tricks.

Single-player control is frustrating at times, and strategy isn't as important as the brute force method because of this. Nevertheless, this game gets a boost from attention to graphic detail and audio.
