    The 3D engine the game uses is surprisingly well done, with well detailed plane models and decent environments. If you have interest in taking to the sky and sending jets to the ground in a ball of fire, you should consider giving Sky Gamblers: Air Supremacy a shot.

    I think my lasting takeaway from Super Lemonade Factory was just how generic it was, for better or worse. There's nothing inherently wrong with it in any shape or form, but it doesn't do anything to make itself stand out either. In an oversaturated app market, that alone could be enough to bury it in the long term.

    There is no denying that Harry the Fairy is a well-polished title but perhaps someone polished too hard and some of the internal workings are showing. The game follows a formula to a tee and doesn't stray from it. The controls are great, the audio and visuals are solid, the gameplay offers light challenges and solid design. Everything works how it's supposed to, but there is no "above and beyond." It's exactly what you'd expect and nothing more.

    While virtual controls are still a compromise I'm not completely comfortable with, Kung Fu Rabbit sweetens the deal with level design that makes sense for the platform.

    Unfortunately, an innovative and well done approach to movement is only one part of the puzzle to making a good game, and Brandnew Boy is missing almost every other element. If you want a Dynasty Warriors style mindless action game, perhaps you should give it a go. Otherwise, just be on the lookout for other games that implement this movement scheme with a better game behind it.

    Nosferatu - Run from the Sun isn't a bad game by any stretch, though it may seem a little uninspired beneath the hood (flying portions excepted). If anything, its presentation helps set it apart... and maybe that's what the developers intended after all?

    Coco Loco is an interesting creature for sure, as it's not quite good enough to knock those perturbed birds off their perch but it is good enough and fleshed out enough to warrant a cheap download. The game is especially worth it if you're a huge fan of these types of games and can't stand the wait for Angry Birds Space.

    I really did enjoy Mass Effect: Infiltrator and is serves as a wonder companion to the just released Mass Effect 3. I do wish it tied in story wise a little closer to that game, since I'd wager that most of us are playing the two concurrently. Despite this, it's given me a way to enjoy the world while away from home, and more Mass Effect is always a welcome sight.

    Tap Paradise Cove is a decent city-building social game, and it has its moments of reward. Unfortunately, it seems to hold back unless you're willing to offer up handfuls of cash. Given the availability of similar games that aren't nearly as pushy about microtransactions, you may as well chalk this one up as another broken tropical dream.

    If you've played the original, then you've already seen practically everything the sequel has to offer. If you haven't, there are better puzzle games out there more deserving of your money and time.

    TwinGo! is an experience which is simple, yet challenging (and very accommodating), and full of charm -- the happy Natsu and surly Fuyo are hard to dislike, with their different animations and demeanors, but don't go so overboard with it as to be thought of as "cutesy," which is a fine and difficult line to walk.

    If you've never played The Fancy Pants Adventures before then iOS isn't a bad place to jump aboard. The entertaining story and abundance of bonus challenges will keep you entertained for quite a while, and the game has style to spare. However, those who have already been on this adventure have no real reason to revisit it due to a lack of new content and gameplay mechanics that still don't feel quite right.

    Adventure Bar Story feels like it should be great. Between enjoyable combat and the simple restaurant management, all the ingredients for something special seem to be in place. Unfortunately, things don't really rise like they should thanks to the gameplay's glacial narrative and repetitive grinding.

    What ultimately holds Lightopus back is the lack of any real growth or development. What you're doing in Level 1 is the exact same thing you're doing in Level 20, but with more enemies onscreen. It's the same thing every single stage, and even though it's fun for a little while, the mechanics and gameplay aren't engrossing enough to stand on their own for an extended period of time.

    In the end, The Lost Shapes provides a solid, competent puzzle game experience. It doesn't quite have the addictiveness of a Tetris, but still provides a good bit of fun that should satisfy any fan of puzzle games.

    If you're into extreme sports, or extreme versions of extreme sports (it almost seems to B.A.S.E. jumping what Mirror's Edge is to parkour), then you should have plenty of fun playing this game. It's fun, plays well, and has quite a few (read: 47) levels to play through as you try to get the best score you can, and then beat that.

    A little ways in the game finally begins to reveal itself to the player through some pretty inventive and fun worlds filled with interesting puzzles to solve. It takes a little time to warm up, but once it does, Incoboto is well worth the trip.

    Playing Midway Arcade left me wishing that it supported either the iCade or the Atari Pro Duo controllers. No matter how well-implemented the control schemes are, these games were built with a joystick and buttons in mind. At the end of the day, that's the only true way to enjoy them for all they're worth. Still, Midway Arcade is a solid collection given the price.

    The game is polished, and the empty look and design of Munch is disturbingly adorable; even more so when he latches onto flowers. Munch Time is a solid physics-based puzzle game that's worth a look.

    If players are already fans of Kingdoms of Camelot, then they'll still likely enjoy this mobile version. That said, it does not connect to the web rendition, so it is a bit of a discouragement. As for new players, just be prepared to lose… a lot.

    Wonderfully presented and is not too bad a companion game when out running errands or walking the dog. Because of that context though, it's likely to be underplayed quite a bit. Still, if people are looking for something new and creative, then this is certainly the game to try out.

    For most players, BlockHopper is too much of hassle to be fun. Everyone likes a challenge, but you cannot ask players perfection when your own control scheme doesn't accommodate for it. Unless you are comfortable with the control scheme and don't mind a bit of challenge, find another game to get your platformer fix.
