Some might be quick to call games like Spellsword a copycat, but when a game improves on its inspiration in just about every way imaginable like Spellsword does, it's hard to justify such labels. While Super Crate Box may have invented the formula, Spellsword elevates it to the next level. Fans of SCB, consider yourself warned – you have your new addiction.- Gamezebo

In a saturated marketplace full of platformers asking you to earn three stars/gems/coins/stickers, fans of the genre could do worse than to monkey around with this one. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to attend a tribunal for crimes of punning against humanity.- Gamezebo

It might not be purrfect, but Cannon Cat is still a great iOS title. It's challenging, fun, and full of personality. It's a little light on variety and a tad glitch toward the end, but that's nothing a few updates can't fix.- Gamezebo

Colourful, packed with a genuine sense of play, and far more than the sum of the parts; a simple set of building blocks that combine to form something full of nuance and depth.- Gamezebo

Though folks using older iOS devices may occasionally become frustrated missing a target due to a choppy framerate, Deer Hunter Reloaded is perhaps Glu's most successful attempt at freemium.- Gamezebo

MacGuffin's Curse is a great, meaty puzzler that will really get your brain cogs whirring. With so much content, the formula was bound to feel a little samey eventually, but by the time that feeling sets in you'll have more than gotten your money's worth.- Gamezebo

With a tiny price tag and a neon glow practically built for parties, you'd be silly not to have Centrifeud sitting on the table when friends - or enemies - come knocking.- Gamezebo

Sketch Nation Studio might not be able to conjure up professional-grade games, but it still offers an appealing set of tools for the beginning creator.- Gamezebo

Tiny Monsters captures the Dragonvale spirit of addictive breeding-based gameplay. It doesn't have nearly as much long-term depth as its constantly updating 8-month-old counterpart, but it's still fun nonetheless.- Gamezebo

Radiant Defense is still a tower defense game, but it's a really good one. Your iOS device is no doubt already packed with games in this genre, but you'll start clearing them out once you have this title.- Gamezebo

Dream Dresses isn't a bad game, but it doesn't have the makings of a stand-out hit, either.- Gamezebo

Hambo has some quirks which are more a matter of personal preference as to whether you would appreciate them or not. Beyond that, with the exception of a couple of gameplay issues named above, Hambo is a pretty solid, fun game with over 200 levels, so you should be kept occupied for quite a while if you go with it.- Gamezebo

While there are a ton of equipment options, skill trees, and other back-end options, the things that really matter-combat, navigation and story-leave a lot to be desired. The game is free so you're not going to be out any money, but time is a more precious resource. Save it and pass on Illusia II.- Gamezebo

It finds itself solidly in the middle ground, somewhat mired in a few weird design choices and the lack of any kind of innovation. It just sort of exists. It most likely won't offend the people that decide to play it, but it won't stand out or be memorable for them either.- Gamezebo

The bulk of Bloody Western is pretty good. So long as users don't mind the slow burn of questing and dueling, it's a nice change of pace from all the carbon copy mafia-themed games on the market.- Gamezebo

Not every title from the early 2000s has stood the test of time, but Max Payne Mobile's fantastic presentation and storytelling keep it a must-have for action junkies looking for a serious game on iOS. It might not look or control as well as it did over a decade ago, but much like the hundreds of mobsters and bullet wounds you'll encounter over your 10 to 15 hour adventure, it won't stop Max Payne from emerging successful.- Gamezebo

In a mobile environment where zero dollars is fast becoming the new 99 cents, your time is the most precious resource of all. The only currency of consequence, I'd argue, in or out of any game. And when a title like Aero Vacation asks you to pay for your own time? You deserve better.- Gamezebo

It seems like for every positive that Burnout Crash! provides, there is a negative to counterbalance it. While the great gameplay may win it a few bonus points to put it over the edge overall, the game suffers from things that shouldn't be a problem.- Gamezebo

Dofus: Battles 2 might not bring anything revolutionary to the table, but it is a refreshing twist on the tower defense/attack genre that benefits from being set in an established fantasy world. It's not a game for the quick-twitch crowd, but if you're looking for something that rewards quick thinking and clever strategies, this is probably right up your alley.- Gamezebo

Crow should be lauded for ambition and its attempt to raise the bar in mobile gaming. At risk of looking a gift horse in the mouth, however, I'd argue that it doesn't deviate all that far from the platform's mini-game standards; instead, it wraps them in a much glossier package.- Gamezebo

Walking away from Ice Age Village feeling satisfied is an easy thing to do, especially if you're a fan of the film series. While it would have been nice to see a bit more social in this social game, the gameplay that exists stands on its own as being fun and compelling. Considering the cost of entry, I'd recommend the game to anyone even mildly interested.- Gamezebo

While the strength of the game is variety, it's also its downfall. With only one map at launch, it can get boring to play the same landscape over and over. Not to mention some people discover their favorite spots and refuse to leave. When more content comes out, the game will be that much better. But when the biggest complaint one can file is "I want more!" then the game is doing something right.- Gamezebo

There's nothing bad I can say about Nightfall. It's Playdek's finest game to date, and people that might've been a bit bored by the solitary nature of Ascension will find a ton to like here. For me, there's an evolving level of strategy to the game, and I know it's going to be front and center on my iPad for quite some time.- Gamezebo

It's not a perfectly smooth ride, and just like its thrill-seeking stars, Sky Gnomes misses the target now and again. But at 0.99, with a whole lot of ambition, I'd certainly recommend taking the plunge.- Gamezebo
