Star Raiders is doggerel: derivative, insubstantial tripe that fails to entertain on any level while simultaneously tarnishing the legacy of a classic Atari 800 game. I can't remember the last time I have played something so objectively bad, and Atari should be ashamed that they are actually receiving money for this.

Rambo: The Video Game is clearly a cash-in, but one that makes little sense, with little relevance.

It's not a terrible game, but it is a deeply average one.

Perhaps this is due to the game being rushed out to coincide with the film's release, but whatever the reasoning behind it, The Incredible Hulk just doesn't quite seem finished.

X: Rebirth will get better over time, and anyone who’s open-minded enough to look past the ‘X’ branding and see the ‘game’, may even find many hours of entertainment.

The epitome of a terrible movie tie-in game.

Fighters Uncaged is one of the worst cash-ins we've ever had the misfortune to play.

Hoodwink is true to its title, since it's barely a game.

You may be tempted to try out TestYourself, given that it's only $2.99, but be warned - it's all a trap. Only two tests are provided, and for extra tests you need to pay extra $2.99 for each extra pack. Do yourself a favour, and go buy yourself a non-verbal reasoning book instead - you'll feel a lot smarter for doing so.

If you haven’t guessed it already, Raven’s Cry is quite blatantly unfinished.

I have had experience with numerous World War II games and this game seems to be the most unplayable version of all.

All in all Terrawars was a disappointing experience and one that may leave you much as the paperboy in “Better Off Dead” but wanting your twenty dollars.

While Utopia City does have some unique qualities in the form of rewarding artefacts and its energy based gameplay mechanic, other areas only make it adequate for budget line expectations and out of reach for anything beyond that.

In defence of Crafty Studios, they have been proactive in patching, but Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny seems a long way off of being playable quite yet. Save your nostalgia, start learning the German language, and pray to Cromm that things turn around quickly.

All in all this is a good set of games for burning away spare hours with high seas hijinks. Now if only it came with a Captain Jack action figure!

This is a recommended play for fans of “control-freak” games like Theme Park, Theme Hospital, The Sims and Red Alert-genre programs.

Games like this are notorious for having very little replay value, but Professor Fizzwizzle saves the day and the game from being uninstalled once all the levels have been played by including a level creation feature which enables you to make your own levels to play.

All in all Band of Bugs was a good play, though how much replayability for the price tag it has is yet to be seen.

As cheap as it is, the game is just too unstable to recommend. There are some colossal load times (even with 2GB of RAM), persistent crash-to-desktop issues, and many, many occasions when you'll need to reload your last save game due to bugs.

It's difficult to assess what a non-fan of the Might & Magic series will think of Kingdoms. For those who've followed the series, it's a nice addition to the canon and one to enjoy daily while we wait for the appearance of the 6th in the series. Still, for those who are looking for a browser title with substance – it's hard not to recommend Kingdoms.

Though it lacks the direction to make itself a pure arcade skateboarding title it has enough humour, self-awareness and interesting gameplay to be worthwhile.

We're off the opinion that the worst that can happen to a game is it being uninspiring – Northern Crusades isn't a bad game, but neither is it a particularly good game. It simply is and it's hard to give a passionate answer either way as to whether it's worth your time.

Dark Scavenger takes an iteration of the RPG genre that is generally thought of as obsolete and breathes fresh life into it. While there's room for improvement, it does what it does very well, and is packed to the brim with colourful characters and desperate situations.

What saves Dungeon Gate from being a total frustration-filled write-off is the one innovation the game has: Dysan’s ability to scan and turn himself into every single person, animal or creature in the game, and then use their powers and even upgrade each form.
