Whilst there's no denying that the entire experience is a splendidly beautiful one, with admittedly amazing looking graphics throughout the game, that eye-candy can only last so long. DoA XBV is inherently repetitive.

It’s just a really good fun game that does not take itself at all seriously and for fans of Dr Jones it is absolutely fantastic and I cannot recommend it high enough.

We can't recommend this game enough. If it's an adrenalin rush you're after, then 1080° Avalanche could be the snowboarding rush you've dreamed of. From Nintendo, with Love.

If you can look past the bugs, brevity and repetitive nature of Just Cause, there is a lot to enjoy for the action enthusiast: abseiling behind speeding cars, insane parachute drops, massive amounts of gunplay and beautiful graphics to name just a few features.

Medal of Honor Airborne offers up some genuinely interesting ideas to freshen up the series and the genre as a whole. It’s just a shame that they are let down by the game’s shoddy mechanics.

If you see it cheap, it's worth picking up; for anyone expecting a long-lasting game, however, you'll be disappointed.

A shaky beginning giving way to a great follow up as it finally gets to grips with its mechanics and characters.

A fine simulation of the technical game of poker, but just cannot hope to reproduce what makes poker so great.

A game that should become a cult/sleeper hit of 2015. Not perfect by any means, but great fun for the most part.

Strictly a single player event and with no additional modes outside that of the repeating chapters or limited mini games there is no reason to return.

Overall, this is a game that will likely divide Castlevania fans. It’s still that a dark and forbidding fairy tale told that worked so well on the 3DS. It doesn’t quite fit as well here but it does manage to create some of the same atmospheric, dark and brutal adventure and if more people get a chance to experience it then that can only be a good thing. Its home is clearly on the 3DS though.

A title greater than the sum of its parts, the tactical element keeps requires a bit of strategical know-how whilst the action element feels far more involved and creates the feeling that a tangible difference is being made to the outcome of the battle.

Never Alone is a game that has gone from hardly being on the radar, to something that could quite possibly be a Game of the Year (2014) contender. Those who take a chance on this game will come away knowing they have been part of a unique experience that shows that games can be used as a serious vehicle for story telling.

It's a great game if you like the genre, but it won't probably won't win any new fans to the puzzle style of play. Their loss.

Overall, Yatagarasu: Attack on Cataclysm is a solid fighting game with some nice mechanics but it really has its work cut out to overthrow the current crop of fighters.

Planning on spending time online? Spend some hours in Career mode and a few more on the practice court and you're on your way to greatness. Staying offline? Unless you're happy with a tragically uneven Career mode, you're better off perusing other options for the virtual tennis court.

Revolution is good fun, and is as addictive as all of its predecessors. It's just a shame that this seems a little on the stingy side regarding the release themes. That aside, this is great addition to the Worms series, which is still one of the best set of games out there for customisation and design. Revolution is perfect for getting together with some friends, and just having a good laugh.

For fans of the first two Battlefront games there is plenty here to enjoy. The single player is a limited experience which will disappoint most, but for those with access to the online features then Renegade Squadron is well worth the asking price.

'Average Hour' would seem a better appellation for Call of Duty: Finest Hour.
