In truth Wolverine could have scored higher simply due to more time being allowed for bug testing, and possibly having no association with the terrible film. But that doesn’t prevent it from being a good solid, and ultimately, fun game.

It’s a shame that this could be destined for obscurity because it’s certainly one of the most unique games this year and a series we wouldn’t mind seeing continue.

Once again, the developers have provided an excellent game, thoroughly deserving of your time and attention.

This really has all the aspects that makes a great kids game, it's really fun to play, even the dialogue raises a few laughs without being puerile or patronising, it's a bit of a cliché with the kids genre, but there are even some jokes the parents will laugh at too. The only flaw in the character dialogue is voice match to the character's mouths, it's like a badly dubbed Japanese movie but it's only noticeable if you're a heartless critic.

A game that surpasses EA's "The Godfather." Knowledge of Scarface is not necessary, but you will respect Tony Montana or else.

By not breaking the mould, Guns, Gore & Cannoli is nothing but a safe enjoyable experience and well worth your time.

For every improvement there's an unnecessary change, for every addition there's a prohibitive linchpin unaltered and the biggest changes lie firmly on the spine established in 2009. WWE '12 is simply the best wrestling game ever made. THQ promised big changes and they have delivered. It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, with Road to Wrestlemania, online issues and the odd glitch to name a few faults, but they have done enough to justify both themselves and the WWE itself.

It's more of a loving homage to the original, updating the aesthetics and stages while retaining everything that made the original so great.

Remarkably, for a game that is so complex, a mere four buttons or so keeps everything at your fingertips - this truly is accessible strategy.

Near the end of the game... the game loses all balance and a high proportion of cheesy twists and one boss fight after the other thrown at you all at once.
