There Magic Arena is with its fantastic game mechanics just front runner for me.

I would not say that Code Vein communicates its story better than Dark Souls. But it just tells it refreshingly different and I enjoy experiencing the game mechanics of Dark Souls in a different context.

I can only laugh about the casino games because they are so absurd and ridiculous. This kind of thing just does not belong in a serious sports simulation and always distracts me from the actual game, because I want to throw baskets in NBA and not spin lucky wheels. Without casino and VC, NBA 2K would be a much better game.

The directional blocking, the new fighting styles and combos, the improvement of the drone abilities and a still highly motivating looting system have inspired and motivated me.

All in all, I would have liked a bit more narrative narrative and a more level-focused skill design that would not let me search the needle in a haystack in the vast world alone.

It is a pity that these great mechanics are not underpinned by better modes.

Those who have hoped for similar style diversity as in the vampire gameplay pack or at least sim-quirks like in Werde-famous add-on, are tricked here.

If you look at it and can overlook the rather clumsy story and the weak fighting system, Green Hell is suitable for genre novices with strong nerves as well as for veterans interested in a new challenge.

The DLC is really worthwhile only for Anno players who enjoy searching and collecting objects.

RPG fans who have the stamina and who are after a singleplayer role-playing game that does not rely on the old-school could still have fun with Greedfall and should give it a chance. And even if it is only to love the extraordinary world design.

I am disappointed by Control at a high level. In the beginning, the many mysteries and thus my curiosity pulls me through the game, but after a few hours disillusionment is spreading. The characters are as pale as the eternal hallways of the Old House monotonous. Hardly any opponent is a challenge if you regularly build Jesse's weapons and abilities at checkpoints.

Although this foundation is stable enough for a big game, it actually shakes tremendously in the higher floors.

Hand on heart: Remnant: From the Ashes does not come close to the stick-hard role models of From Software.

At best just an above average game with strange design decisions.

It does not want to be a modern shooter, of course, but a little more depth would not have hurt.

And the mod-tweaking of my science fiction troops and commanders brings additional depth.

Exactly the stuff that the horror genre desperately needs: gripping from beginning to end, with fresh enemy types and a varied gameplay.

You also have to give the developers a lot of credit for how much fan service and configurability they've put into the game.

The first DLC is only worthwhile for those who want to let off steam without any space problems. Or for those who already had a lot of fun collecting objects in the main program, in order to optimize their settlements to the last little screw.
