I am disappointed by Control at a high level. In the beginning, the many mysteries and thus my curiosity pulls me through the game, but after a few hours disillusionment is spreading. The characters are as pale as the eternal hallways of the Old House monotonous. Hardly any opponent is a challenge if you regularly build Jesse's weapons and abilities at checkpoints.

Although this foundation is stable enough for a big game, it actually shakes tremendously in the higher floors.

Hand on heart: Remnant: From the Ashes does not come close to the stick-hard role models of From Software.

At best just an above average game with strange design decisions.

It does not want to be a modern shooter, of course, but a little more depth would not have hurt.

And the mod-tweaking of my science fiction troops and commanders brings additional depth.

Exactly the stuff that the horror genre desperately needs: gripping from beginning to end, with fresh enemy types and a varied gameplay.

You also have to give the developers a lot of credit for how much fan service and configurability they've put into the game.

The first DLC is only worthwhile for those who want to let off steam without any space problems. Or for those who already had a lot of fun collecting objects in the main program, in order to optimize their settlements to the last little screw.

I have to praise for Arcane, the level design has really pleased me despite backtracking.

However, those who do not like vigorous micromanagement should bypass the new digital Eastern Front.

All in all, F1 2019 has become an outstanding racing game, but not because of this year's innovations, but because of the sovereign basis that Codemasters has built up over the years. With Formula 2, this basis has become even more stable.

A truly groundbreaking experience is not the mish-mash of clues, uninspired fireworks and quite appealing story with a rather lame ending - but for answering difficult questions, you have to beat The Sinking City more than just on the back.

Is Bloodstained better for me than the Castlevania template? Probably it fails very close because Symphony of the Night keeps a very special nostalgic place in my heart.

Because the core of My Friend Pedro is its aestheticized, cartoony action, complemented by amazingly well integrated into the game design puzzles and a wonderfully trashy story - and thus the banana ballet hits me completely on the bullseye.

Sulani is definitely the most beautiful neighborhood in the game so far.
