The quality of the Rainbox Six-series has reached an all-time low. The AI opponents don't take cover properly and then don't even realize when they are hit. The story doesn't seem to be connected to Rainbow Six: Vegas and some scenes in the game are simply absurd. It feels like Vegas 2 was made out of bits and pieces that didn't make it through quality control when the predecessor was made. Great controls and game mechanics can't save the game from being mediocre.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a solid single-player game with a strong story, the combat however is in desperate need of more fine-tuning.

Devil May Cry 4 may not be a very subtle game, but it sure is a lot of fun. Ripping whole armies of demons to shreds at breathtaking speed or watching a mighty end boss giving kudos to you in "over the top" cut scenes - things like these create that special feeling of power. There are some weak spots like (levels are re-used, a few annoying mini games and riddles), but action fans should give it a go anyway.

This is the PC conversion of the console game Birds of Prey. It's a bit short for an action game, doesn't offer enough options to be a simulation and still it's worth playing, mainly because there are no alternatives and Wings of Prey has great graphics worth seeing.

The complex combat and character system in Tower of Time is fun for hardcore enthusiasts fun, but for others may lead quickly to frustration and feeling overwhelmed.

ARMA 2 doesn't seem to be a finished game. The AI is cheating, physics and controls are out of date and the game is full of annoying bugs. That the game manages to look great from time to time doesn't help much. Hopefully Bohemia Interactive will release some patches soon. The game still has a lot of potential.

You also have to give the developers a lot of credit for how much fan service and configurability they've put into the game.

It's a very good Fomula One game, but it's about time to improve the presentations. And what stopped the developers to implement something like Formula BMW or GP2?

Dying Light 2 combines great gameplay with a surprisingly good story. However, the run-of-the-mill open world impairs the fun in the long term.

Zeno Clash offers a really good combat system, good AI and a real innovative design. But instead of seeing more of the world, you're back in the arena after taking a few steps. The story raises more questions than it answers. In the end, it's just a few hours of mandatory boxing.

The Survival mode is a party for hardcore strategists.

What a comeback! Finally the FIFA series has overcome its form crisis and is celebrating modern football (soccer) again, both graphically and gameplay wise. Not everything is new, but most things look better. Pro Evolution Soccer may be the better simulation, but the fast action of FIFA 09 is just as much fun. EA Sports is back in the top league.

Humankind is not a perfectly polished, yet extensively exciting and intricate strategy game.

The addon is huge and offers new factions, units and special abilities. It's hard to understand why there are dozens of new units, but only a few of them are actually playable. But the missions are fun to play, even though the campaign is too short and lasts only for about eight hours. As far as multi-player is concerned, Kane's Wrath does everything right.

The second standalone addon is also extensive, the trolls fit well into the world - but are a bit tough to play.

Fast RTS with great animated medieval troops clashing and conquering sectors like in Company of Heroes.

Clever gameplay with changing worlds drives the action role-playing game, but long-term motivation fails to appear.

One Piece Odyssey is a mediocre JRPG with slow progression. The charming adaptation still makes fans happy.

This is the second episode of Tales of Monkey Island. It's as good as the first part, no more, no less. It's fun for 3 or 4 hours, but the puzzles are too easy, the graphics and the controls could be better. Where are the long and challenging puzzles? Where's Monkey Island?

Once again Paradox offers a strategy game on a global scale, perfect for retirement, taking a year off or spending your life in solitude. It's dry presentation is full of statistics and details. If you've got enough patience, this game could keep you occupied for years.

The single player campaign basically forces you to use the same tactics over and over again, but you‘ll still want to play that next mission. Supreme Commander really shines in multi-player games or skirmishes.

If you are willing to read a lot, Orwell can send shivers down your spine when working as a profiler.

An enjoyable co-op shooter that doesn't know what it wants to be - other than taking your money.

Expeditions impresses with great graphics and fresh ideas, but suffers from a lack of consistency in some areas.
