The gameplay simply isn't as tight as it should be. The care and time you take in building your bot is often wasted due to too many quirky design flaws.

While it's not going to make you shelve your copy of "NFL 2K3," it is a surprisingly deep take on the gridiron game.

A flawed, boring game design that fails to capitalize on the inherent coolness of its theme and character.

It delivers a portable rush of addictive high-speed action. And you can't really ask for more than that.

The problem is that for a sequel, it does nothing to enhance the gameplay found in its predecessor, sans a few new moves and match types.

As a fighting game, Budokai is mediocre at best and annoyingly frustrating at worst.

By coupling one of the memorable SNES games ever released with an incredibly novel and addictive multiplayer mode, this version of A Link to the Past is an extraordinary game with awesome replay value.

With its silly premise, repetitive gameplay and graphics fit for the PSone, Evolution Snowboarding decends like an avalanche from the highest crest to the lowest valley.

It's just that LoW2 is missing that certain something … namely compelling gameplay.
