Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a masterpiece of emotional storytelling, rich in atmosphere in which history and magic intertwine. The game is not afraid to ask hard questions and point out harsh truths, all the while featuring a gripping narrative, believable characters, and an impressive turn-based combat with some novel mechanics.- GameSpace

Shadow Warrior 3 is an unbridled good time with great fights and even greater one-liners. Add in some character and weapon upgrades with a great store and that is a recipe for success in my book. If you like Metroidvania style games with compelling storytelling, satisfyingly challenging boss battles, and music to match the feel of the game, Iconoclasts is worth playing through again and again. Adventure Pals is a great platformer for all ages. From the great, wacky story and visuals to the tight controls and smart progression systems, It has something for the whole family. Few stories in games can successfully make me hate the “protagonist” and at the same time draw me compulsively further into the events and plot twists. Paired up with the simplistic and impressionistic art of the story frames, the atmosphere and the complexity of the intertwining yet opposing factions bandying for influence over hopelessly corrupt Jack Boyd and you have a Noir story set in the 80’s that could rival the classics.- GameSpace

Gris is not only beautiful, but it's also the perfect platformer for anyone who likes a challenge to be about more than reflexes or enemy slaughter. It's a thinking game, that also happens to have really good platforming at its core. It's neither too long nor too short, and worth every penny to experience the year's most beautiful visuals.- GameSpace

A Plague Tale: Requiem impressed with the time I was able to spend with her. It's clear that Asobo is working on fixing the biggest flaws in 2019's A Plague Tale: Innocence. This improved the quality of movement and resource management, expanded Amicia and Hugo's skill sets, and expanded the levels to encourage more creative interaction with your surroundings.- GameSpace

I didn’t have the pleasure of playing Alwa’s Legacy’s title before this (Alwa’s Awakening), but I can say with confidence and un-tinted goggles, Alwa’s Legacy is a fantastic game that can be picked up regardless of your experience with the series. It has an exciting, challenging, and rewarding playstyle that’s accentuated by a beautifully crafted and nostalgic world. What more could you ask for? There’s just so much obvious love and care that has been poured into this game from its developers, and it really gives Alwa’s Legacy a glossy polish that is unfortunately missing from a lot of other metroidvania indie titles we see today. Would I recommend Alwa’s Legacy? Yes, a hundred times over, yes. It is fun from the very beginning to end, and invites you to explore the contents of its world without hand-holding or a curfew to pull you down.- GameSpace

A fun well thought out point and click adventure game. This genre isn’t for everyone, but for those who like it, then this is a definite buy. If you’re new to the genre this would be a good first dip into the water, although its sub-genre of a sci-fi Nordic Noir may be a bit different than what you’re expecting; but in a good way.- GameSpace

While Iris.Fall is a bit shorter than we'd like for it's $39.99 USD price tag it's still a journey we're glad we took! Couple the innovation that uses objects in the light and shadow worlds with some spectacular animation and you have a clear cut winner for one of the best puzzle games ever on the Nintendo Switch platform!- GameSpace

Far Cry 5 is an artistic lesson in juxtaposition. On one hand you have a group of devoted followers of a “message of peace" that live in violence. You have a calm and charismatic leader who insights calamity. There are communities united in anarchy. Far Cry 5 provokes its audience to think and wrestle with the uncomfortable answers to our own “what-ifs” about faith, family, and the power of community.- GameSpace

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream sets an impressively high bar from the opening moments and consistently maintains it throughout the experience. It perfectly caters to fans of both stealth mechanics and narrative-driven games, delivering exceptional quality in both aspects. Crossing Souls may still be a game I revisit when I need to be comforted by the sheer joy of its characters, world, references, and music. Fourattic clearly loves the era as much as many of us do, and it shows. For all its references, the callbacks to different pop culture events never feel forced. Gunfire Reborn is a strong first person shooting rouge-like title, with well tuned challenging engagements. There is a lot of potential for this title to expand and the developers are actively looking for more feedback to improve the title. I was very skeptical of the title, but after watching others play it, I felt the need to try it for myself. It was a quick grab, which instantly sucked me into 3 hours of straight play to see how far I could get. It took about 3 days to finally beat the normal mode, which required that I really start to understand the games mechanics. Darksburg has sprinted full force into early access with a definite solid foundation for the game. The world the developers have built is difficult and terrifying, but it can also be immersive and beautiful. There is a story behind the unlucky town of Darksburg that is begging to be told, but it will just take a little more time to unravel. I’m particularly excited to learn more about the Revenants and the source of the Infection, and hope that the creators lean more into the lore behind their world. They’re in a unique position to offer a game with high replayability and a rich story as they continue forward through the early access period. The base mechanics of the game have been ironed out with an interesting cast to execute them. Now let’s throw in a little more spice and kick things up a notch. [Early Access score = 75]- GameSpace

What Starship Troopers: Extermination can give is a fun and enjoyable fight with bugs, trying to somehow survive with 15 players who are trying in every possible way to kill you along with bugs, or just doing nothing at the base. Windrose is an Early Access pirate survival game that blends exploration, soulslike combat, and base-building in a procedurally generated world. While its core systems show strong potential, especially in combat and progression, the experience feels uneven in solo play due to repetitive exploration, underutilized sailing mechanics, and occasional combat inconsistencies. However, the game significantly improves in co-op, where shared progression, base-building, and emergent teamwork help elevate the overall experience. At this stage, Windrose feels like a solid foundation that is far more engaging with friends than alone, and still needs time to fully refine its core systems. [Early Access Score = 70]- GameSpace

The overzealous monetization aside, A3 is a solid mobile MMO, and for anybody looking for PvE progression, the mid-level dungeons available in A3 start to provide an acceptable level of difficulty and engaging combat mechanics. the difficulty A3 has is the number of sub systems that artificially increase the amount of time spent sorting your way through sub menus makes getting to dungeons something of a trial. Going Medieval is an impressive colony-building sim, with lots of potential and a little room for improvement.
