Vanguard isn’t bad at all but there’s certainly room for improvement. The gunplay is solid, the graphics are beautiful - but the campaign is weak and the multiplayer unbalanced.

A fantastic little horror game with an art style and a soundtrack that are both simply stunning - and an imagery so disturbing you won’t be able to take your eyes off.

A great idea executed horribly. There’s no career mode and zero progression, no physics to speak of - and very soon it simply gets plain old boring. This game would feel old and half-baked 20 years ago.

The quintessential Czech adventure game is back and it’s going relatively strong. Do you like the previous adventures of the goofy, silly sleuth? You’ll enjoy this one as well.

Not a very successful return to the grand old days of isometric RPGs. Black Geyser is full of nostalgia and love for legendary games of the past, but it wouldn’t be genuine to call it a finished product. There are too many bugs, oversights, missing content and systems.

Saints Row lost a lot more of its charm with the reboot than it gained. Its new heroes are neither likable nor funny, and the graphics and game mechanics have remained stuck in the depths of the last decade, apparently under an avalanche of technical problems.

Zachtronics Studios are saying goodbye with eight fantastic games packed into one. And it’s amazing. The individual games, the stories that surround them, the nostalgic feeling - this is as good a send-off as they get. Thank you for everything!

Unity of Command hits form once again. Its dynamic combat for North Africa is based on the extremely solid base game and offers a fresh, exotic perspective.

What could have been a nice, nostalgic RPG falls flat on its face. The story doesn’t work, it looks awful, the gameplay is poor, and the user interface is absolutely archaic.

Amateurish in every respect. You might find something to like if you really enjoy gaming underground - but if you desire even a baseline of quality, you’ll find nothing to like here.

A brilliantly crafted story set in a complex fantasy world, full of compelling characters – and it even offers the freedom to make your own choices. But its combat is not very well realized and if you’re unfortunate in where you guide your character, you might not even be able to reach the end.

It’s hard to disentangle oneself from Boneraiser Minions. It’s chock full of content, really fun to play, it’s even legitimately funny and of course extremely addictive. Can you stomach the simplistic pixel art? If so, you’re going to spend ungodly amounts of time in this game and you’re going to enjoy every minute of it.

Dungeon: Faster & Deadlier is a bit of a surprising continuation of its mobile predecessor. The mechanics are tried and tested, the graphics feel more mature this time around and the gameplay is just solid all around. Once you power through its slow roguelike beginnings, nothing will stop you from reaching the end in a relaxing and pleasant manner.

Are you a business simulator aficionado and love video games? Then you’re hardly going to find better fun than Mad Games Tycoon 2. It’s full of so many possibilities that there’s hardly anything you’ll miss. The depth of the simulation is impressive and the resulting game surprisingly addictive.

Masterplan Tycoon takes the complex automation processes from other games and minimalizes them which makes the whole experience more streamlined, accessible and dependent on your own imagination. It’s an engaging puzzle, trying to connect everything to everything else without it getting in the way. And to see the seemingly incomprehensible chains pop up beneath your hands produces a feeling of true satisfaction.

Bum Simulator advertised itself as something akin to a homeless person GTA, but it’s just an unoriginal, stupid game with an identity crisis, incapable of utilizing its own systems, lacking in fun and quality. There are zero reasons to spend money on this.

Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 stands as a commendable addition to the quirky simulator genre, offering gratifying ship dismantling and skill enhancement that will immerse you in hours of tranquil gameplay. While its repetitive nature leaves room for improvement, the overall meditative experience remains worthwhile.

Heretic's Fork takes well-established mechanics and blends them to create a highly refreshing and addictive game. This deckbuilding with a twist spins a devilish web around a rather ordinary tower defense concept, all under the veil of humor and a distinctive aesthetic. It's a fantastic indie gem that will keep you hooked for quite a while.

Punch Club 2: Fast Forward might deter you with two things – significant grinding and the fact that the sequel doesn't stray far from the original. However, grinding is integral to this game, and the first installment worked beautifully. The sequel also boasts a futuristic setting, consistently great humor, polished audiovisuals, and intriguing stories. If you're looking for something to sink your teeth into this busy year or simply want to unwind with a game, Punch Club 2 will keep you entertained.

Truck Driver: The American Dream teased an Unreal Engine 5-powered, narrative-driven trucking game, only to unveil an unenjoyable arcade experience with highly frustrating road traffic, uninteresting chatter, and audiovisual elements that fall short of both the chosen engine's capabilities and the standards of current consoles. At a significant discount, it might temporarily satisfy the appetite for console trucking, but don't expect much beyond that.

House Builder had great potential but ultimately didn't step out of the shadow of House Flipper. Building houses is neither elaborate nor satisfying, skill development feels hastily done, and it's not pleasant to listen to or watch. It only captivates with its environment and diversity in buildings and construction processes. If you're looking for occasional relaxation, it might work, but it won't become your next game for all the following evenings.

Yet another good expansion for the excellent medieval strategy game. While the handling of epidemics is top-notch and the question of legitimacy is a well-executed functional element, the legends could benefit from greater attention to detail and depth.

An excellent tank action game set against the stunning backdrop of a strange apocalypse. It strikes a great balance between exploration and combat elements, with the audiovisual presentation deserving special praise. The tank battles would lose a significant chunk of their atmosphere if the shooting and damage effects didn’t sound as good as they do. The main criticism lies in the mechanically weaker boss fights and the underwhelming final part of the game.

Tribe Nation lays down a solid foundation for a good roguelike strategy, but it undermines itself in execution. Small maps and limited unit counts restrict meaningful tactical gameplay, but the biggest drawback is the excessive reliance on luck. When things align in your favor, it’s a fun and original bite-sized experience with charming visuals. However, at other times, the campaign feels less like a test of strategic skill and more like a series of coin flips.

A playful, clever, and incredibly compelling wizard school management sim, Mind Over Magic lets you lovingly watch over your students as they go about their daily activities while the game’s mechanics unfold. The only slight blemish is the somewhat repetitive combat. The real danger? It’s highly addictive—you might find yourself glued to the screen for hours on end.

An expansion that fully understands things work differently on the steppe than they do in settled societies. Crusader Kings 3 transforms almost beyond recognition when you're playing as chief of nomadic tribes. You can finally experience the rise of Genghis Khan in a way that's both historically authentic and a lot more fun. If every DLC were like this, the beloved feudal strategy game would be a much wilder ride.

Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is a smart game. Despite its abundance of systems, it manages not to overwhelm, gradually revealing the full breadth of its mechanics. To fully enjoy it, you'll need to look past the weaker graphics and the limited variety of enemies and security systems. The story relies heavily on imagination and reading, as many of the things mentioned are never actually shown. Still, it stands out as one of the most accomplished turn-based tactics games out there, with excellent execution of both stealth and combat.

Much like Void Shadows, Lex Imperialis is a well-crafted DLC that adds both narrative depth and new gameplay mechanics. The grimdark space enforcer is a solid addition to the already expansive story of Rogue Trader, and the best part is, you get to play as this uncompromising arbiter of the law yourself.
