StarCrawlers is a space-punk dungeon crawler that offers a great atmosphere, a splendid combat system, an engaging set-up and a rather interesting story. Besides several minor flaws, the major fun killer is an unfortunate focus on the procedurally generated content that can‘t compete with manually created work yet.

The game suffers from being too like the previous one, there is a simplification where it was not needed, and finally it offers little varied content. To learn about the tragic fate of survivors through texts only can still make up a strong atmosphere that you can hardly experience elsewhere, but the potential is wasted and after the first couple entertaining hours the stereotype takes place.

The huge potential of surprisingly realistic survival game suffers from obsolete visuals, even though it’s on purpose here. The gameplay is downgraded by the boring mini games –the become boring due to a lack of new elements in the second part of a game. The game-improving highlights are a storytelling, voice acting, ambient sounds and fantastic music. Walden has the best chance of succeeding with Thoreau fans, both new and orthodox (they should stay alert though).

A very successful war simulation of the bloodiest conflict in American history that boasts with a sophisticated artificial intelligence, impressive historical depth, but also a dynamic campaign that responds to your results on the battlegrounds. The only pity is the absence of multiplayer and a few unfinished design elements.

The third part of the repair sim series moves the limits in the right direction once again. It is nicer, more comprehensive and a bit realistic. Basically, it offers much more than its predecessor and innovates its features in the right places. It´s a pity game has a catastrophic start and overpriced packages with licensed cars again. Must-have for fans, for others the opportunity to get something completely new with a little different approach to cars.

A mobile solitaire proudly presents its builder phase. Not only this doesn´t mean anything, it is accompanied with a few more fundamental failures. You can find entertainment here only in its pure core and amazing music.

An interesting game in its core suffers from the simplicity and the absence of any interesting game mechanics that can keep your interest for more than few minutes.

Short, stupid and empty. Story of pretty agent Jessica is the worst paid bonus ever made for the Wolfenstein series.

A missed opportunity. This zombie co-op lacks the charm of the original comic book and its gameplay doesn’t dazzle. It is, at its core, a slightly above-average shooter bogged down by questionable rules and ideas. The result is boring and often frustrating.

Every fan of the genre and of World War 2 should be excited about this very solid turn-based strategy. For everyone else, it’s “just” a very complex and difficult game.

There may be too many swordfights, especially for those who didn’t enjoy them in the original game, but that’s not the biggest problem of this DLC. Simply put, it’s too short. The interesting story and characters deserve much more room for development.

This Slavic strategy is a very distinguished successor to the first installment. It’s undoubtedly a difficult game, but you will yearn for “one more turn”.

A finely crafted physics puzzle game. Its original concept could perhaps be milked a little bit more thoroughly, but it’s still well worth a playthrough - even more so if you’ve got a multiplayer partner.

Another excellent addition to Arma 3, following in the footsteps of Laws of War. Don’t worry about the topic of aliens on Earth - the atmosphere is actually tense and full of great moments.

Fun singleplayer or cooperative card game with the topic and illustrations bound to please every Tolkien fan. However, it’s worse than its board game counterpart and hampered by an amateurish interface and a weak AI.

There is a certain magic in a venerable series like Close Combat becoming wholly 3D, but the AI is as weak as it’s ever been. Well, at least it’s still intense, strategic fun.

Woven is a cute, novel game in a creative world full of fun puzzles. It tends to drag on a bit but remains well worth a try - especially thanks to the wonderful narrator.

The Wild Age honours its source material and the move to a 3D environment makes sense. The game can be immensely enjoyable for the first few hours but that gives way to bland routine later.

The physics of huge vehicles are as brilliant as ever and the map of Chernobyl is okay, but the rest of the game just isn’t up to scratch.

Mortal Kombat once again proves that it belongs among the best in the fighting game genre. Everything here is just so very good - the gameplay, the graphics, the story. There are issues, however, with lagging because of poor server connection.

It’s quite evident that The Pillar is heavily inspired by The Witness, but the quality is just not there. There are good, original moments, but the puzzles are generally far too easy.

Can you stomach intense micromanagement, spartan graphics and unpleasant user interface? Then you’ll find a complex strategic playground ideal for all of those who love their fill of Ancient Greece.

There are worse things in this world, such as war, starvation and grown men on scooters, but none of them have the audacity to release themselves on Nintendo Switch. This port doesn’t deserve any of your attention.

Great improvements were made in the match engine, the user interface is better and so is the focus on personalities. This is an absolute must-have for all the chess players on the grass. It is just a shame that the Czech competitions remain deeply flawed.

The audio-visuals are great, as is the atmosphere, but everything else is pretty terrible, especially the frustrating gameplay and technical issues. And, what’s more, the handheld mode on the Switch is basically unplayable.

This is war at its scariest, without mercy, without a human face. It’s quite fun to plan your nuclear strikes in this strategy game, however, and fans of the genre will be happy with what it does.

A brilliant DLC that lets you play as the German Army and, through its punishing difficulty, makes you understand that being a general in the 40s was no easy gig.
