With only a superb soundtrack as its savior, Mad Trix ends up being a sad mix of bad control, horrible sound effects and awkward camera angles.

The game has it's moments, but for every one thing that it does right, it manages to do three other things wrong.

Why should I buy this game for $50 when I can go down the street to a bar and spend the same amount of time for about $49.25 less?

There is more bad than good here. Just when the game starts to become tolerable, something poor comes along to rain on the parade.

While some hardcore gameplay fans may appreciate the purity of this experience, the plot and lack of characters is so glaring, I find it hard to believe even so-called "hardcore gamers" won't find it annoying.

The game's visual bugs, familiar gameplay, and suspect framerate make this game seem more like a devolution.

What made Treyarch’s "Spider-Man" engine so special was its versatility. In MR, most of the versatility was taken away by simply focusing on the fighting aspect, giving the game a repetitive feel to it throughout its 40 levels.

If somehow, you are able to master the terrible control, perhaps having fun with ESPN is a possibility, though I doubt it.

Had the control scheme been less complex and easier to learn, that would have gone a long way toward fixing the problems.

It doesn't offer anything that excites me over the other versions except for a few new arenas and weapons, but do those small extras warrant a purchase? Of course not.

Unbalanced characters, cheap AI, and ugly graphics mar this game to the point that its' not even worth trying out.

It’s got some decent control (albeit with a few quirky cameras), and a whole lot of potential, but I saw none of the flash that it should’ve had.

Final Four does contain a few innovations, but it comes up short in every way possible.

A serviceable platform title that will fill the "I want, I want" need of younger gamers who fell in love with the movie.

Lacking in the depth that even arcade-style fans look for, the only strength of the game is in its unique fish-landing interface, which is very PS2-centric.

The level design is uninspired, the controls ... well don't, and the game's sense of speed is nonexistent.

The grappling system is decent, but grows weary soon enough. And considering how much the success of professional wrestling depends on the showmanship of its combatants, the game delivers a pretty bland experience.

The sum of its parts are overshadowed by low production values, shallow story, lacking gameplay structure, and poor character development.
