What with the story mode, the regular mode, and the competitive mode, there's enough here to keep a whole group of puzzle gamers occupied for quite some time.

Strategy games are never meant to be flashy or hectic, but if they become too slow and complicated for the sake of being complicated…well, then we have a problem. Dynasty Tactics walks a very fine line here, and luckily, does not fall into the aforementioned abyss.

A more complete gameplay model with refined controls could have made this racing title of the launch, excluding "SSX" of course.

If you're sucked in to the experience, you will find that there's plenty to do; cars to customize and challengers to crush. Although some may find it cumbersome and repetitive, the idea is sound, and the game comes out fairly clean in the end.

The game's brevity and lack of real suspense or horror make for a mellower game than anticipated. It's worth playing.

Could have been a better racer had the framerate not stopped at key points in the game and also if the game had a little more replay value.
