Battlefield 6 focuses all its efforts on the core elements, map design, environmental destruction, gunplay, and the atmosphere of war, delivering the spectacle of modern combat with striking visual flair. While it may not stand out for gameplay variety, it remains unmatched in overall quality within the large-scale warfare genre.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is an elegant puzzle game based on the miniature gardening, which focuses on making full use of space and resources to explore various kinds of gameplay. The Nintendo Switch version perfectly adapts the new platform, and some new features and new levels make it even more fun.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a powerful action game that introduces a new gameplay experience with its core combat mechanism of parrying. This game reinterprets the history and characters of the Three Kingdoms period, providing a surprising experience for Chinese players. However, the game's map design has some flaws, and the endgame content is also lacking. These issues prevent Wo Long from being a perfect gaming experience. However, we hope that future DLCs will fill these gaps and address the shortcomings in the game's content.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a modern creation deeply infused with the soul of classic JRPGs, carving out a bold new possibility for the genre's future. Its QTE-infused combat system brings a rare sense of impact and fluidity to turn-based battles, while boss encounters inspired by Souls-like design offer room for skill-based progression.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is a complete evolution of Kingdom Battle based gameplay. The free movement control of the battle brings a more dynamic strategic game experience. The elemental effects that do not focus on the hit but randomness and chaos are also easy to please casual players. The ridiculous combination of Mario + Rabbids once again shows the charm that makes people addicted to it, and it is the most enjoyable strategy game this year.

Astral Chain is Platinum's best action game in recent years. It perfectly melts action and RPG elements together, and of course, it worth playing for multiple times. If you love action games, don't miss it.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is still fun and arguably the best co-op action role-playing game out there. But like the Monster Hunter: World, it is still not enough in terms of "sincere" game content. Predictably, it is enough to sustain the "hunters" for dozens or even hundreds of hours of grinding. Compared to its predecessor, however, the players are still obviously having less fun in the process. We will still go on grinding monsters and keep updating the gears, but this does not seem to be the fun of the Monster Hunter series. Today, the motivation to keep playing looks more like the IP of "Monster Hunter". And that is far from enough.

Gathering Storm makes impressive progress compared with Rise & Fall. The importance of this DLC to Civ 6 is just like Brave New World to Civ 5.

The Crew Motorfest may not be as flamboyant as Need for Speed or as open-ended as Forza Horizon, but Ivory Tower Studios, the developers behind the series, are clearly aiming for more than mediocrity. In an era dominated by Forza Horizon, they provide another option for the casual racing enthusiast.

I fully support Konami's decision to entrust Bloober Team with the development of the Silent Hill 2 remake. Using the latest technology, they have faithfully recreated the haunting, fog-shrouded story, allowing both new and long-time players to experience and re-evaluate this masterpiece from over two decades ago through a modern lens.

Fire Emblem Engage is a treat for retro fans. It retains the best of the GBA title, with excellent level design and a rich combat system. But the story is very dumb, making it the game's biggest weakness. Fortunately, Fire Emblem Engage itself is still fun enough for anyone with a passion for SRPGs to have a good time.

Saros is a remarkably pragmatic evolution. It holds onto the spectacular bullet hell barrage and top tier gunplay that defined its predecessor, while making smart compromises to better fit mainstream playstyles. With a gentler difficulty curve and clear, intuitive progression feedback, it lowers the once-intimidating barrier to entry significantly. As a major tentpole in Sony's first party lineup this year, this game truly delivers an exhilarating, deeply satisfying alien odyssey for action-shooter fans.

As the final work of the Total War: Warhammer series, Total War: Warhammer III not only brings a lot of new content, but also improves and perfects the original content, which makes it the game with the best experience among Total War series so far. However, the slightly boring mid-to-late process, the occasional vicious bugs and other "old problems" left the game with some room for improvement. All in all, in a world where RTS is scarce, Total War: Warhammer III is a great choice for both long-time fans of the Total War series and newcomers to the Chinese-style camp of Cathay.

The reboot of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is a triumph. FromSoftware's vast experience shines through in the game, smoothly blending their past successes from Souls-like titles into Armored Core VI. It also stays true to the essence of mech games, maintaining the strong traditions of the series such as the highly customisable mech assembly. It retains the core fun that defines the franchise.

Building upon the concepts of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, and refining them further, Metaphor: ReFantazio delivers a highly satisfying experience. In terms of story, it offers excellent character development, while its gameplay system introduces a wide range of class combinations, adding depth to the mechanics. That said, the overall story quality of Metaphor is not particularly groundbreaking, and it feels more like a refined take on traditional dungeon-crawling RPGs rather than an innovative or revolutionary creation.

Mario Kart World is a solid and well-crafted addition to the long-running series. It is an HD upgrade, but its graphic improvements are enough to amply enhance the monster hunting experience of Monster Hunter: Rise, and this makes it one of the best action games on PC. If you have not played this game on Nintendo Switch, I strongly recommend you buy this game and experience the new action system and Wirebugs in Monster Hunter: Rise. But if you are a seasoned hunter who has defeated the Thunder Serpent Narwa, you may choose to wait and make a decision when the DLC is released a few months later.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is far from flawless. Problems with waypoint navigation and a lackluster finale keep it from reaching true greatness. However, it still delivers a solid and engaging adventure. The game does an excellent job of immersing you in the role of legendary archaeologist Indiana Jones, bringing to life the thrill and mystery of his iconic exploits. For fans of action-adventure games - especially those who prefer exploration and adventure over pure action - Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is well worth playing.

Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition is a game that really touches your soul. The game is about death, but interprets death in a heart-warming and thought-provoking way. This endows the game much uniqueness, but also means the game is not to the liking of everyone. However, the game is worth trying. The players who have not played it may just take the "farewell version" as the starting point of the spirit journey. If you take your time and immerse yourself in the game, you will relish the peculiar experience about death and life.

You can sense the real potential and exceptional quality of Manor Lords, but what's more common is the disappointment of the lack of content. It has a unique medieval atmosphere, a first-person perspective that can immerse players, and a distinctive 'backyard economy' system that combines the fun of building supply chains and managing labour in the production process. While warfare isn't at the heart of Manor Lords, it's done quite well and evokes a sense of familiarity with the Total War series. [Early Access Provisional Score = 75]

Soulmask is a game that integrates different gameplay elements within the survival crafting genre, offering a refreshing experience for someone like me who has grown tired of traditional survival crafting games. While it shares the slow and complex nature of the genre, the help of NPC tribesmen and customisable settings allow players to quickly immerse themselves in an addictive survival and exploration loop. You can experience almost all the core pleasures of survival crafting in this game. The current content is already rich enough to support long-term play for Survival Crafting enthusiasts, surpassing many similar games that have been in Early Access for years.
