Its surprisingly hard for me to recommend Modern Warfare 2 to anyone. Sure: The singleplayer-campaign is quite exciting, the atmosphere is intense and graphics are "ok", but the console-ported multiplayer quite simply spoils it all. What were they thinking?! Bottom line: Fans of the predecessor can give it a go, everyone else is way better of with Modern Warfare 1 - especially in terms of "value for money".- Gamers.at

Shattered Horizon manages to expand the first person shooter genre by literally another dimension. Sadly enough it is very well possible that this title might be relegated to a niche existence because of its originality.- Gamers.at

Dragon Age is definitely a game that takes time - and you will like to take that time. BioWare created a dark and well polished fantasy world which offers many things to do for a roleplay-gamer.- Gamers.at

The gameplay doesn't really satisfy me, but what's worse are the technical issues. Still, the game has its moments and can be great fun because of the story and the force powers.- Gamers.at

Episode four of the Tales of Monkey Island leaves me undecided: I like that there are more puzzles in the game, but overall this episode offers too much of a dejavu-feeling, resulting in a good, but not very good episode.- Gamers.at

Tekken is still a great series, but the qualities of the old days have lost their sparkle. Especially the story mode disappoints. Therefore solo players lose interest soon, multiplayer however presents nearly endless fun.- Gamers.at

Borderlands is undoubtedly a unique experience - but one that comes with many flaws like being quite repetitive and somewhat boring, if you are not absolute into looting, grinding and playing Co-op. If you are though: This might be your sole past-time-activity for the coming months.- Gamers.at

FIFA 10 for PC shows it's just a console game with dated graphics. Shame, cause the new features increase realism, but with graphics that look five years we can't recommend this version at all.- Gamers.at

This year it is really a pity that Konami forgot to properly convert PES to the PC because Pro Evo could have won the virtual football battle against EA Sports - especially with graphics.- Gamers.at

Those who have already played the first one should not expect anything new in Tropico 3 - the gameplay is almost identical. This is good news for fans, because the original is still a great game, but we would rather have liked to see more innovations.- Gamers.at

Some critics might say that Uncharted 2 doesn't do anything new. Still: There's nothing that can compare to this game which is a true next-gen game with all virtues. Go get this game!- Gamers.at

The city-building simulation Cities XL in solo mode certainly makes a lot of fun and motivates to build even larger and more sophisticated cities. The announced features for the online mode are sometimes not available, and also do not always work as they should. A solid game for solo players, fans of the multiplayer mode should still wait for improvements.- Gamers.at

In comparison to ARMAII, Dragon Rising is, though still very realistic and challenging, a bit more action-oriented and somehow "traditional". So while you don't get the innovative luxury of deciding what to do all by yourself, you are guided through eleven action-packed and comparatively linear missions. It's still fun though; especially when you team up with three of your friends!- Gamers.at

If you consider yourself "fairly interested" in racing and motorsport, you are probably better of with NFS:SHIFT or Race Driver: GRiD. But if you are a direct-injected, turbo-aspirated pedal-to-the-metal-Petrolhead, this might just be the perfect Racing-Sim for you... that is, if you don't already own GTR Evolution, which offers more content whilst not falling short in any other term.- Gamers.at

Risen is a great role-playing experience, it is just fun to investigate every corner of the mysterious island. The story and quests are quite varied and the game world gives you an credible feeling of being a part of it. The developers have focused on the strengths of the first two Gothic parts and didn't make any technically mistakes. Role-players should go and grab it!- Gamers.at

SHIFT doesn't offer anything ground-breakingly new (despite the awesome Cockpit-View), but doesn't do anything important wrong either. So if you are longing for a solid Racing-Simulation with good graphics: go get it! But keep in mind that Forza3, Race On and GT5 are already on the horizon.- Gamers.at

That's how a good port has to look! The power of the PC is well used, but not spent without use, and a few extras spice up the game. Especially in two-player-mode Resident Evil 5 is great fun.- Gamers.at
