Despite the lack of Blood the “Ninja-Gaiden-Feeling” could still be carried over to the first mobile installment of the series which makes Dragon Sword as good an investment for fans, as for all other owners of a Nintendo DS with a liking for action games.- Gamers.at

Due to some weaknesses in terms of story (extremely disappointing ending) and gameplay (savepoints), Mafia II turned out to be a good game, but not the masterpiece we've hoped for. Most of these problems can be quite easily forgiven though, thanks to its overwhelming atmosphere and charm.- Gamers.at

Everyone who likes to just freely roam about, shoot everything in his way and travel around in different vehicles like cars, boats and choppers is certainly on the right track here. If you are, however, looking for a more “serious” game, you might want to look elsewhere.- Gamers.at

A good end to the trilogy that unfortunately lacks big changes to the first two parts. Alien Breed 3: Descent shows off with polished graphics but offers only a very shortlived experience.- Gamers.at

While The Sims 3: Pets won't convert new players to the Sims Franchise it's an absolute must have for fans. The pets are a really nice addition to the gameplay and the new neighborhood also add some nice stuff like the ranch or the dog park.- Gamers.at

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is more than an add-on, but doesn't feel like a sequel either. The scenarios are similar, and the gameplay mechanics are practically identical. Enough ranting, though: In this game you can control your Alter Ego perfectly, the team commands work well and the scripting is well written. The difficulty levels are designed to give starters and pros a real challenge and keeps you glued to the screen for hours. Extra praise has to be given to the camera feature that lets you include your face into the game. Those who can live without innovations should make their way to Vegas again. It's worth the way.- Gamers.at

Sam & Max are back and as whacky as we love em! However the episode lacks difficulty and will be hard to understand for anyone whose mother tongue isn't English.- Gamers.at

Even though the look of the character might be something that needs some getting used to, Clap Hanz' virtual golf game has complex gameplay and all the ups and downs of the real sport. Most interesting is the online mode, which allows eight gamers at once for the first time; the HD-graphics are nice to look at and excel at exotic locations like a golf course in Africa with complimentary animals of the jungle. What more could a golf-player ask for?- Gamers.at

Same game, different console – for the most part, anyway. You should definitely give Eternal Sonata a spin, if only to escape the all-too-common bleakness of next-gen titles.- Gamers.at

NFS Hot Pursuit will not reinvent the genre but it is great fun and perfect for quick races inbetween. If you aren't the competetive type however the game starts to lack soon.- Gamers.at

Bulletstorm is probably the most politically incorrect game of all time ... and to me, that's a good thing! Its humour will certainly not be to everybody's liking, but I totally recommend it to every single shooter fan out there that wants to try something new.- Gamers.at

Its surprisingly hard for me to recommend Modern Warfare 2 to anyone. Sure: The singleplayer-campaign is quite exciting, the atmosphere is intense and graphics are "ok", but the console-ported multiplayer quite simply spoils it all. What were they thinking?! Bottom line: Fans of the predecessor can give it a go, everyone else is way better of with Modern Warfare 1 - especially in terms of "value for money".- Gamers.at

The singleplayer-campaign may have nice story ideas and its iconic moments, but with only three to four hours of playtime and its disappointing and confusing ending, Homefront is certainly not worth your money, if that's what you are mainly interested in. If you are into multiplayer, it's a completely different story though! Nice Maps and Modes, exciting battles and a motivating XP-system make Homefront a worthy diversion until the release of BF3.- Gamers.at

The controls for Predators and Xenomorphs may be a bit tricky and the AI sometimes doesn't show any "Intelligence" at all, but nevertheless: AvP is a most-have for fans of the movies, as well as the games - especially if you're into absolute multiplayer-mayhem and don't mind "some" gore.- Gamers.at

LEGO Batman is the very opposite to “The Dark Knight” – less psychotic brutality, more kindergarten-flair. Consequent improvements compared to its predecessors are what make this game truly enjoyable – though I’d have liked to see some real innovations this time around. [Issue # 16]- Gamers.at

Fans of RPGs and especially Dragon Quest can give this one a go without further hesitation. Everyone else should probably give it a more thorough thought as the missing story and some strange decisions concerning the design, like the saving system and the grouped monsters, may give you a hard time.- Gamers.at
