Trine is really a pearl of a game. Beautiful level-design, nice puzzles, good voice-acting and a lot of atmosphere. If you are a fan of platformers and liked The Lost Vikings then Trine is definitely a game for you.- Gamers.at

F.E.A.R. 2 doesn’t offer anything particularly new, which – in my opinion – is a bad thing. But on the other hand that’s just what I personally hoped for, as both F.E.A.R. 1 and F.E.A.R. 2 are brilliant horror shooters with good graphics and awesome multiplayer components.- Gamers.at

It may have been a close call, but to us L4D2 really did manage to become more, then just a "full-price-addon". It's a definite must-have for fans and the best co-op experience money can buy.- Gamers.at

Sacred 2 has become exactly what we have all hoped for: One excellent dungeon crawler building upon the strengths of Sacred 1 and a worthy heir to the game’s legacy. Though it could’ve been much better as new ideas are a bit rare. Nevertheless, Sacred 2 remains a great game with high replay value. [Issue # 16]- Gamers.at

There is very little PURE actually does wrong. Great handling, graphics, soundtrack and the tricks are far removed from all reality – that’s the way it should be! So if you’re looking for a pretty arcade-game to cover the time till the next “big” one’s released you’ve found your game! [Issue # 16]- Gamers.at

Due to some weaknesses in terms of story (extremely disappointing ending) and gameplay (savepoints), Mafia II turned out to be a good game, but not the masterpiece we've hoped for. Most of these problems can be quite easily forgiven though, thanks to its overwhelming atmosphere and charm.- Gamers.at

Terraria is a game, where you've got to make most of the fun yourself - a giant world to explore, tons of craftable items and currently three challenging bosses make this an easy task though. You'll find all materials really quick and every new item as well as every found crate or new area make you want to explore more of this lovely 8bit universe.- Gamers.at

Episode four of the Tales of Monkey Island leaves me undecided: I like that there are more puzzles in the game, but overall this episode offers too much of a dejavu-feeling, resulting in a good, but not very good episode.- Gamers.at

Despite being a fan of the concept since the very first trailer, I can’t help being a bit disappointed about how this games turned out after all. It’s, however, still a nice title and the pretty solid port to the PC including some nice new features makes this version the one to get!- Gamers.at

To be honest I expected The Sims 3 to be more than it actually is. Those who own The Sims 2 and all add-ons will miss many beloved elements. Electronic Arts just placed the headstone for many add-ons to come but nothing else.- Gamers.at

If you like to blow stuff up, RF:A is certainly worth your while. It simply knows what it's good at and delivers that without any aggravating flaws. Just don't expect it to be anything more than a "MichaelBay-esce" action-orgy. Because despite its quite interesting story, at its heart, it still nothing more, then an action-packaged homage to everything destructive... which is a good thing.- Gamers.at

To everyone who liked, or still likes, World in Conflict, Soviet Assault is a must-have. The simple fact alone, that you’re finally able to play as a commander in the Russian Army is sort of a fans dream come true. Unfortunately though, the original's slight overview-problems still haven’t been solved.- Gamers.at

Bulletstorm is probably the most politically incorrect game of all time ... and to me, that's a good thing! Its humour will certainly not be to everybody's liking, but I totally recommend it to every single shooter fan out there that wants to try something new.- Gamers.at

Assassin's Creed is graphically stunning, acoustically impressive, innovative and brilliantly staged. But one thing's definitely lacking: replay value! And a certain degree of monotony can’t be denied either. Like a colleague of mine once said: "It could have been way better then that!" Personally, I simply keep hoping for a massively improved AC2 and lots of merchandise! May Ubisoft Montreal concentrate on many, many successors and spin-offs. [May 2008]- Gamers.at

Due to its awesome cars, nice graphics, realistic handling and amazing atmosphere (night racing + in-car-view rocks!), Shift2 is a perfect pick for every Gearhead and car enthusiast out there. If you consider yourself a mere "NFS-Fan" though, you're still better off with the "other" NFS: Hot Pursuit.- Gamers.at

If you play Brink as the multiplayer-shooter it undeniably is (despite the possibility to save or leave the Ark alone, which should simply be ignored), it's a real winner. Great character-customization, well balanced maps, good handling, awesome graphics and a surprising depth thanks to the huge amount of abilities make this a MP-Shooter that has come to stay.- Gamers.at

When a sleeper turns out to "only" be recommendable to hardcore fans, something must have gone wrong. In the case of UaW, it's the realization of the sensational ideas and hugely announced features, that, in the end, apparently didn't totally work out. Yet UaW offers RTS-gameplay at a very high level, that may help to overcome the waiting time for "StarCraft 2." [March 2008]- Gamers.at
