GoldenEye 007: Reloaded won't rewrite any FPS history books, but it will entertain each and every gamer smart enough to give it a shot.

It's not going to be winning any game of the year awards, but Bond fans and those who enjoyed the original GoldenEye should have fun with it.

Skylanders Spyro's Adventures is a simple game with a gimmick attached, but it's a pretty good gimmick. All things taken into consideration the whole package scores a 75%, but add 15% to that if you're eight.

So back to the big question at hand: is Skyrim too much like Oblivion to the point where it loses credibility? In a word, no. If Skyrim had the exact same game engine and mechanics of Oblivion it would most likely be a contender for game of the year. But by addressing every issue from the last game and improving everything else, Skyrim leaves little room for error for the next game in the series.

House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut is the ultimate version of Overkill and is quite a good buy if you're a fan of on-rails shooters.

Battlefield 3 is still good at what Battlefield has always done best, but the rest of the package is more disappointing than anything else.

There is nothing technically wrong with the game; it is just bland, generic and quite simply uninteresting.

Rock of Ages is a novel idea and one that has some potential, but it feels like the balance between offense can defense in the game just isn't quite right.

The game grows quickly tiresome, and doesn't go anywhere but down from there.

Adam snuck aboard a freighter in the main story of Human Revolution and he had quite a journey aboard that freighter while separated from his team!

It doesn't necessarily ace aerial combat, but it's a fun diversion when you need a break from grounded shooters.

It is, hands down, the best RPG of this console generation, but that one minor control issue keeps it just shy of a perfect score.

While Magic 2012 can be entertaining for those who play online, it really serves more as an expanded training program for anyone who has thought about delving into the real game.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine may not bring much originality to the third-person shooter, but what it does it does in a fun way and better than many.

PSP owners won't have a compelling reason to relive these games in HD unless they're hungry for more trophies, but all other God of War fans should jump at the chance to play these thoroughly enjoyable games on their PS3s.

Unless you have taken an oath to reject violence in your entertainment, there is no reason to skip Gears of War 3 – it has everything you could ask from a shooter and does them all with first class polish. If the Gears franchise has come to an end, it goes out on top of its game.

The graphics, the style, especially Toriyama's work, the gameplay and the barely quantifiable amount of stuff to accomplish come together to make Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 one of the last, best Nintendo DS games and the second greatest monster hunting RPG on the system.

This is a game that's best targeted to those who can't get enough of Ugly Americans and have three other friends who feel the same way. Otherwise there are plenty of twin-stick shooters available on XBLA that are a lot better games than this.
