Space Empires IV does an excellent job of providing the detail-happy player with an engrossing and engaging game.

If you loved "Caesar" and "Pharaoh," you'll probably really like Zeus. You'll probably enjoy the game also if you enjoy the challenge of building a city and an economy to run it, provided you have the patience to wait for your efforts to bear fruit.

OK, so it's not a quantum leap forward in gaming, but so what? It's a heck of a lot of fun from the company that defined RTS.

Cataclysm has made some welcome improvements to the excellent original game and provides more fun with the best real-time space combat game to date.

While it is convenient that they've included many objects available on the web on this CD, it would have been nicer to see even more new, never seen before objects.

Middle of the road RTS fare. Strategy gamers might enjoy the game's novel setting, but its quirks and shortcomings may prove to be frustrating.

Higher resolution graphics and a better automap feature would make this game rate even higher.

Some people might become bored with it once the novelty wears off. However, the game has inspired a very loyal following on the internet, so it definitely has a long-term appeal among many gamers.

A beauty to behold and play. The AI may prove to be too great a challenge for some beginning players, though. Otherwise, there is very little I can find to complain about. This is a genuinely well-designed, fun to play game that stands out from most of the other games out there.

One of those rare games that is not overly complex, but provides a challenging and fun gaming experience. It never seems to get old or boring.

A deep and involved strategy game, but there may be too much micromanagement and the pace may be too slow for some strategy gamers.

If you love pouring over sports stats and the strategy that goes into building a winning basketball program, you'll find Tournament Dreams to be both fascinating and addicting.

The bottom line is that this game is amateurish and not that much fun to play. For the same price, or less if you shop around, you can go out and buy "Freelancer."

If you’re a fan of military sims, then T72 is definitely worth a look. Just don’t expect to be immersed in the experience. However, if you’re expecting a Battlefield-style experience, T72 is definitely not for you.

Crazy Machines is not something that you will enjoy because of intense graphics or an amazing storyline. However, it may be something you enjoy because it’s simple, fun, and it is an absolutely perfect time-waster.
