Gameplay, presentation, everything about it is about as good as it gets, and I can't really imagine any gamer coming away from this one disappointed.

A not bad, but not great, return to one of the longest running shooter series of all time.

You'll get several hours of play out of the expansion, and if you enjoyed the original game's campaign you'll have fun with this one.

C.O.R.E. is simply not worth your time or money. There are far better shooters out there, even on the DS.

Big props for offering something new for poker fans, but you must go elsewhere for a real poker game and higher production values. At least the career mode is good for one playthrough.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra The Video Game is just plain awful. Whatever you do, though, don't let me stop you from seeing the movie. You'll love it.

This game is almost as ugly and unpolished as it's console counterparts. It just happens to be the lesser of the five or six evils.

King of Fighters XII attempts a new fresh start for the series, but beyond the new character sprites, not too much else has changed.

For eight dollars, you simply can't do any better than Shatter. It, in all honesty, is about as perfect a game as you'll see anywhere.

Arcade shooter fans may enjoy taking this one for a roll and a spin.

The game gives you a lot of action for a downloadable shooter, but it's not full-featured. There's no way to play or practice offline, so you'll have to learn the maps and how to use the vehicles in the heat of battle.

Overall The Bigs 2 is fun in short doses for those who prefer an arcade-style baseball game, and very over-the-top arcade play at that.

As this is a classic adventure game, the story is a big part of the experience. As such, the pace will probably feel somewhat slow to those who've never played this type of game before. I wouldn't put the story on par with that of the original Monkey Island, but it's certainly better than average.

Use your $10 on a bargain game that you'll want to play after the first day you buy it, or put it in your piggy bank and save up for a real shooter.

Trine is a near-miss attempt to revive the 2D puzzle platformer of old.

It's hard to pick out any particular aspect of the game and call it outstanding, but everything in the game just comes together nicely for a fun overall experience. Recommended for most gamers except for bowler-wearing city slickers.

If you are looking for a fun western-themed shooter to escape the monotony of Nazis, aliens, zombies, and Nazi-alien-zombies, then Bound in Blood is without a doubt a rental if you can play the console version.

If you're over ten, though, you'll find things too easy to provide much challenge at all, so you'd better be a really big Ice Age fan if you're going to get your money's worth out of it.

It can be fun (I guess) if you are able to find a control scheme/sensitivity that works for you, but if you're like me and can't, you'll be stuck with a game you can't play and really can't enjoy.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a lot of things, but it is a far cry from the complete disaster some have claimed it to be. It's glitchy in places, difficult to control, repetitive, devoid of a decent online mode and worst of all, it dangles the free roam stages in front of the player – and said bonuses are empty wastelands of sheer boredom.

The golf and courses are challenging enough to keep things interesting, and the variety and abundance of equipment and collectibles added additional incentive to the part of me that likes hoarding new and shiny things.

However, if you're already a Sam & Max fan then buying the game should be a no-brainer. If you're new to the Freelance Detective duo but enjoy slightly subversive and twisted storylines delivered with wit and thinly veiled satire, you should seriously consider introducing yourself to their world.

Warts and all, you can't do much better than Ghostbusters if you're looking for a game that is above all else, just plain fun.

I just wish that there weren't so many frustrating problems to go along with these enjoyable parts … and it would have been nice to include the multiplayer version of the game in the PC release.

It's good to see the return of some old favorites from previous Guitar Hero games, but this whole thing should really have been released online as downloadable tracks.

To put it bluntly, the puzzles are bad and the game has little to no pacing.

Heavy Weapon is fun in short bursts, but just doesn't give you enough bang for your buck.

In spite of these shortcomings, I did have some fun with the game. It would have been a lot more fun, though, if there was more variety to the missions and there wasn’t so much frustration tied to them.
