It's a terrible remake of a terrible game, and will probably top my "Worst of 2009" game list come December.

There are a ton of other, much better SRPGs on the PSP, stay as far from this one as humanly possible and play Yggdra Union instead.

In a move that doesn't happen often these days, I'm going to go against the mainstream critics and fans and say The Escapists 2 is a Switch game that doesn't even deserve a first look, let alone a second. If I want to feel the opposite of entertained, and instead an emotion bordering on physical pain, I'd save my money and throw myself down the stairs. My home has two flights, one for each game in this inexplicably popular series. Good news! I never have to play either again, and I can get the same feeling by hurling myself down one of the two carpeted inclines in my own home - for free.

It looks great but that's about it.

1942: Joint Strike wasn't only a disappointment because the game just isn't very interesting or fun, it also served to remind me that I've still got another couple of months until Capcom's remake of Bionic Commando hits the PS3 and 360 for download.

If you do finish Riddle of the Tomb, you won't be drawn back into the story by an interesting denouement. Like the rest of the game, it splutters and fades, leaving you cold and bored.

Perhaps 'Boringgirl' would have been a better title.

C'mon Silicon Knights, give us Eternal Darkness 2 instead of this silliness!

There isn't a whole lot else to say about Nectaris. It's an old school strategy title that I'm sure someone will enjoy based on either nostalgia or just a lack of anything else to play.

When viewed as a whole package, Godfather II doesn't equal the sum of its parts, or at least the sum of the parts, as they SHOULD have been.

Viking, once it is all said and done, just isn’t a very good game. It's repetitive, its boring and nearly every aspect of the game seems either rushed or plain forgotten about.

A strategy game isn't much of a strategy game when it relies more on trial and error than planning.

Skyward Collapse is a game with simple mechanics, good interface and is visually pleasing, it's just not a lot of fun to play.

It's online-only, its expensive and single-player enthusiasts won't find anything to enjoy in this title.

Sonic is no longer a good or even passable video game character.

At least if you play Pokemon Trozei, you'll get essentially the same game with a bunch of funny Pokemon faces to laugh at. Here, you might laugh, but it won't be in a good way.

Perhaps if the game actually were funny it could be recommended as a spoof of serious games, but that’s just not the case. You get a basic and bland RPG combined with a basic and bland RTS game, and that’s about it.

The problem with Outcry isn't that it was cheaply made, it's that the developers took what little they had, and made something unappealing and boring out of an interesting concept.

For all intents and purposes Bakugan: Battle Brawlers is just battle after battle after battle (is that how it got the title?) with slow mechanics and nearly nothing to offer in the way of story, characters or much else.

Whether you're a Bionic Commando fan from Rearmed territory or an old school NES junkie, Rearmed 2 isn't going to be the game you'll end up wishing it was.

El Tigre does little to resemble the television series that it is taken from and the gameplay found therein is very repetitive.

In the end, Balls of Fury is just another movie game that pushes the envelope of how bad things can get when someone says, "We need a movie tie-in game for our crappy film!" Seriously, Balls of Fury is a terrible movie with a terrible licensed game attached to it.

The bottom line is that this game is amateurish and not that much fun to play. For the same price, or less if you shop around, you can go out and buy "Freelancer."

Pacific Storm: Allies tries to incorporate so many features from war and strategy games that it collapses under the weight of it all, crushing all fun out of the game.

The entire game consists of one mode - looking at a bored-looking robot and imitating its moves - and that mode isn't really any fun.

So the story is pretty run-of-the-mill. The same can be said for just about all of this game.

The quality of the graphics look as if they are dated by at least a few years. If we were able to see crisp characters, it might add something to the game.

There are certainly worse budget titles out there, but if you tire of a game after less than an hour of play how much of a bargain is it?
