3 on 3 NHL Arcade is not a very bad game, but lacks some fundamental gameplay elements. The controls are, in combination with the specific type of gameplay, far from practical. On top of that, the idea of being a funny game never quite makes it with the decent look. What remains is the question: What did EA Canada had in mind when they made this game? Whatever the answer may be, it won't be enough to salvage this title.- Gamer.nl

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin has no problem following in the footsteps of it's predecessor. Monolith obviously has chosen action before fear in part two but still manages to find the perfect balance between them both. On the outside the game lost some of it's powers and the attempt to put in some new gameplay elements doesn't always work. But in the end, the game is frighteningly good.- Gamer.nl

Locoroco 2 might be a little less unique than its predeccesor, but its concept is still going strong. The overal atmosphere and gameplay elements will most likely turn a smile on your face. And for a more than decent price the game is almost mandatory for every PSP-owner.- Gamer.nl

This collection is a pretty decent compilation with some of the best titles the Mega Drive has seen. If you're one of those gamers that is still longing for the glory days of the 16 bit era then you shouldn't miss out on this title. If you're not, keep in mind that the games on this disc offer you nothing more than the games like they where back in the days. Meaning outdated graphics and squeaky noises. Something a real fan would die for.- Gamer.nl

The House of the Dead offers a great package of humour and style. The game has turned a boring genre into a wonderful spoof with a little help of some zombies and two cheeky cops. However, keep in mind that railshooters are pretty limited in terms of gameplay and length and aiming at a sensor on top of the tv is far from ideal. Nevertheless, we still want to congratulate Sega for a job well done, in turning House of the Dead into a very funny game.- Gamer.nl

Deadly Creatures turned out to be a very good game, because of its originality, scary looks and outstanding gameplay. Getting into the life of a scorpion or a tarantula was a very interesting experience, that no Wii-gamer should miss out on. The few flaws and short duration prevent the game from getting a high rating, but won't stop us from wanting a second part.- Gamer.nl

X-Blades is pretty much a game that has no intention of doing anything right. It's repetitive and has little to offer to keep you in front of the TV. Only the soul collection system seems to be a nice feature, everything else isn't worth your while.- Gamer.nl

The PC version of Burnout Paradise has the word Ultimate in its title for a reason. When developer Criterion made The Ultimate Box, they put every update and patch that appeared since the release on the console into this game. By doing so, they made Burnout Paradise the perfect game for everyone who wants to race without a hassle. If one of your hobbies is to cruise in your car on a regular basis and if you aren't bothered by an undemanding difficulty level and then you will have no problem liking this game.- Gamer.nl

The new and improved puzzle-styled Tenchu: Shadow Assassins is a step in the right direction for the series. Nevertheless the game has little to do with the original Tenchu, making it a strange experience for the Tenchu veteran. But if you're open to it, Tenchu: Shadow Assassins will offer a very entertaining fifteen hours of ninja-power.- Gamer.nl

Although Another Code R: A Journey into Lost Memories has a great story, the game relies too much on written dialogue. Also, puzzles in the have been simplified and challenge is nowhere to be found.- Gamer.nl

R-Type has always been a title for the tough guys. But with the new Infinite mode it's now possible for every gamer to view the ending credits. The though guys won't use the new game mode of course and are only interested in breaking the high scores. And if this is the case with you then you'll have no problem in buying R-Type. Even with the somewhat high price tag.- Gamer.nl

It's no secret that Afro Samurai aims for the anime-fan. If you're new to the series, then you will have a hard time figuring out what the story is all about. Off course, if you're a fan of Afro, you won't. The only question remains if newcomers will accept the lousy camera and unbalanced fighting system.- Gamer.nl

SimAnimals has some nice features that will hold your attention for a couple of hours. It's too bad that the limited amount of areas and a lot off repeating missions take away some of the fun. In the end the feeling that they could have done a lot more with this title remains. The hand looked at all he created and saw that is was good, but far from divine.- Gamer.nl

Football Manager Live is the Valhalla for every football manager. And after all those years it's finally possible to let your customized team compete against human players. Without ever ruining the gameplay they made the series famous. However, the fun comes with a price. Literally. But even with a high price tag the game remains the best in its genre.- Gamer.nl

Developer Black Box has made a great evolution on the successful concept of Skate by making Skate 2 a bit smoother and by giving San Vanelona a drastic make-over. The new features are more than welcome, even though they sometimes lack finesse on the technical level as well as the way you move your character throughout the game, preventing the game from getting a higher grade.- Gamer.nl

The original Star Ocean: The Second Evolution was, somewhere in the past, a very good game. The beautiful surroundings, lengthy gameplay, extended skill system and a decent story will satisfy most of the RPG-gamers. Nevertheless, Star Ocean isn't the same game as it was a couple of years ago.- Gamer.nl

This is a brain trainer done bad. Even though the concept is good enough, the game does not offer any form of fun or challenge. Even the target audience, young students and seniors, won't really enjoy themselves. Dutch language is also missing, which makes this difficult for some people.- Gamer.nl

Lord of the Rings: Conquest feels like a cut down, simplistic version of Star Wars: Battlefront. Battlefront was far from flawless, but the gampley worked more than fine in a sci-fi setting. The translation into a fantasy setting didn't.- Gamer.nl

Console ports are usually a waste of time, but that's certainly not the case with Mirror's Edge. In fact, the PC version of the game offers even more than its console counterparts. Saints Row 2 is a very entertaining sandbox game for the console, but on the PC it doesn't make a lot of sense. The system requirements are way to high and the frame way to low. And if you look carefully, you will probably find a bug in every corner of the game were we prefer pigeons.- Gamer.nl

Rise of the Argonauts has its share of flaws, nevertheless it really draws you into a compelling storyline of glory and romance. The combat system appears to be very simplistic but actually offers fresh new combos and a very decent RPG-system. The conversations between Jason and his Argonauts are interesting enough, even though the game sometimes offers you voice samples that are hard to understand. Add gameplay that offers less freedom than your average prison, a lack of a decent HUD and some minor bugs and you'll get a game that needs some courage to be played.- Gamer.nl

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is a sublime RPG. There isn't much wrong if we look at the fundamentals or the overall feel of the game. Even the fact that the game appears on the obsolete PlayStation 2 doesn't affect the quality of the game says enough. And on top of that, the game will be in stores at a reduced price and with a free soundtrack. Nothing less than an instant buy.- Gamer.nl

If we had to give Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World an award, it will probably be an award for putting almost the entire storyline of Dragon Ball Z into this game. Too bad that besides the compelling storyline the game also has its share of really bad mini-games. They are in fact so terrible that they takeaway a lot of the fun. Fans of the series will have no problem liking this game, the rest will probably find it a bit too difficult.- Gamer.nl

Riff: Everyday shooter lives up to his name on the PSP. Too bad that there aren't any differences whatsoever between this version and the PSN version. Even if the game would cost a little bit more, than it would still be worth your money. Gamers that are looking for an interesting 2D-shooter should consider buying Riff. Don't forget that you'll need a PlayStation 3 to copy the game to your PSP.- Gamer.nl

Mushroom Men is a nice platformer, but there are some elements that can't keep up the pace. Especially the graphics and the irritating camera position are dragging along. We can talk hours and hours about it, but it won't change the fact that Grand Theft Auto IV is a very good game. The brand new video editor will offer tons and tons of extra gameplay and makes up for a lot of the waiting time the PC-gamers had to endure. Gamers that still aren't satisfied can wait for the hundreds or so mods that will appear after the release. And with that enough gaming material to last at least until Grand Theft Auto V shows up.- Gamer.nl
