Steelrising is a historical adventure filled with fast-paced action, challenging gameplay, alchemical mysteries and more Franco-British dialogue than you might expect. Although the game world feels rather empty and the side missions are quite monotonous, it is great to rewrite the history surrounding the French Revolution with mechanical killing machine Aegis.- Gamer.nl

The beautiful style and animation is the only thing keeping Axel & Pixel on its feet. The gameplay itself is too boring: you just point and click to look for useful objects but there aren’t any puzzles worth mentioning. A good example of style over substance.- Gamer.nl

Secret Angent Clank is a game with two personalities. It has the sneak missions with Ratchet, with an irritating camera, and the action missions with Captain Qwark, which are very entertaining. If you can handle some frustration, this game might be a nice snack for in between.- Gamer.nl

Sonic is finally back. Not that he was away, but he hasn't been in this sort of shape since the Genesis-days. That is not to say that he's completely like the old Sonic, because there are plenty of little niggles here for the fans to get irritated from. Still, he's fast and runs from left to right, just the way we like him.- Gamer.nl

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded isn't as iconic as the original, but still offers some enjoyable moments. The first and last levels are the best in the game and really capture that James Bond-feeling. Splitscreen multiplayer for four people is still as much fun as ever.- Gamer.nl

It is awesome to play a VR dungeon-crawler with a big budget. The dungeons are visually amazing, filled with puzzles and secrets and they are a joy to play, combined with the exciting combat and bosses. [Tested with Oculus Rift]- Gamer.nl

It's not the fights, cause the new Break system makes Dead or Alive 6 a nice deep fighting game which you can enjoy for tens of hours. However, the hypersexualization of the female fighters, limited online possibilities and weak offline multiplayer make this a disappointing game.- Gamer.nl

Divinity 2 is an RPG but it isn’t particularly long or blessed with a big game world. The way you can turn into a dragon makes up for it in a lot of ways, though, and the ability to read someone else’s thoughts adds some life in the boring quests. For people who want to play an RPG but don’t have the time to play through a massive adventure, Divinity 2 is a decent option.- Gamer.nl

Book of Spells can't be recommended to the average gamer. Its pace is too slow and its base is too simple and boring. But your little sister or son should find magic here, thanks to the amazingly well implemented augmented reality features. He or she might have to listen and watch more than play, but is placed in a pretty and accessible world and eventually becomes a real wizard of witch.- Gamer.nl

The cheerful appearance and adult racism-metaphor suggest that The Last Tinker: City of Colors could be an intelligent piece of art. Nothing could be farther from the truth; they remain charming shells for a decent platformer.- Gamer.nl

Mushroom Men is a nice platformer, but there are some elements that can't keep up the pace. Especially the graphics and the irritating camera position are dragging along. However, if you're looking for a game that will bring back memories of the gold old days of platforming than Mushroom Men should do just fine.- Gamer.nl

F1 24 is again an 'in-between game' in which new content is scarce. The career mode is fun, but not enough to pull the cart in a year without Braking Point. Dynamic Handling has potential, but the first version misses the mark in most areas.- Gamer.nl

Not every aspect has been worked out correctly, but for people that want to experience a new coop style will do well by buying this game. Mind though, that Army of Two is quite a short game, and there is no reason to play it twice. That's why the single player leaves a bad impression. Let's hope the follow-up is better, because the game has quite some potential.- Gamer.nl

No matter where you walk, in rain forests or snowy mountain tops: Shape of the World looks gorgeous. When it comes to quality and ambition it is nothing like Dear Esther, but on its own Shape of the World is a lovely game.- Gamer.nl

It's rough to not have X-Men in this game, and the graphic choices lack a comics flair, but the gameplay feels nice and free and the focus on Infinity Stones truly is an excellent choice.- Gamer.nl

This is not the Fire Emblem you know, though the strategic fights, characters and bizarre music are still there. This is a game that seems simpler, but will make it for the long haul.- Gamer.nl

Killing Floor is mediocre on almost every level. The game may be cheap to buy but that doesn't take away the fact that game comes short almost every end. You can have some cooperative fun with this shooter, but this means you will have to ignore a lot of its shortcomings and for many gamers that will be too much of a pain.- Gamer.nl

The game has some nice action, original weapons and funny endbosses. The game isn't very original though, and it's more of the same. So if you are bored to death and have some money left, then Dark Sector could be a nice solution. But don't expect an earthquake in this genre.- Gamer.nl

This is a good puzzle game with fun characters and beautiful surroundings, but the level of the old Layton games is still a lot better. The quality of the puzzles has decreased and the story simply does not stick.- Gamer.nl

A game that sold 24 million copies is being re-released on the 3DS, with extra functions, three dimensional images and horribly cute kittens. It looks like Nintendogs + Cats will turn out to be another success, because the concept remains unchanged. Also, the dogs might have actually become cuter. It's a shame though, that the cats hardly have the amount of options that the dogs do.- Gamer.nl

Puzzle Quest is without doubt the best puzzelgame on the Wii. The different elements from various genres come together here to create a very unique product. The game is long enough to offer value for your money, but it is a shame that the online-mode is missing.- Gamer.nl

You Must Build a Boat does not really renew, but it does expand. Puzzling is more fun because there are constant add-ons for your boat that come with little bonuses. Other than that it is pretty similar to its predecessor.- Gamer.nl

Wolfenstein has two sides. Sometimes, there are an awful lot of Nazi’s and there’s bullets flying right past you all the time, immersing you in the game. Other times, you just wish you could blast a bullet through main character B.J. Blazkowicz’s own head after walking through another boring alley in Isenstadt. Nevertheless, the biggest part of Wolfenstein was played with a big grin on our face. It’s a decent addition to a classic franchise.- Gamer.nl

Jak and Daxter are finally back, but the quality of the gameplay in The Lost Frontier isn’t quite up there with the games on the PlayStation 2. The game tries to hide this by swapping different styles of gameplay very often, but this only ensures that the platforming isn’t getting the attention it deserves. However, the presentation is of high quality and it lifts this game above the average.- Gamer.nl

Do you love zombies? Then you can live out your fantasy on this tropical island, bashing their faces in and cutting their bodies with baseball bats, knives and guns. But that's all there is to do in Dead Island. The different genres that are combined here don't gel together so well and the game has no story whatsoever. Dead Island doesn't deliver on its premise, but hey, it does have thousands of zombies, and that makes it somewhat fun.- Gamer.nl
