Battle Worlds: Kronos is a tactical strategy game that borrows from classics such as Battle Isle and Panzer General. Missions take long and demand your complete devotion, which makes the game fun but slow at certain times.- Gamer.nl

Funny, engaging and full of absurd but fascinating concepts: the new Psychonauts is just as awesome as the original. The VR experience is excellent.- Gamer.nl

God Eater Burst adds its own twist to a genre that spawned lots of clones after the success of Monster Hunter and can be seen as a good alternative if you long for a different setting. It does have some limitations though, that effectively keep it from reaching for the stars.- Gamer.nl

The Climb is the perfect example of excellent VR design. The controller and headset work together perfectly, so it really feels like you are rock climbing.- Gamer.nl

Pilotwings could be considered as a tech demo in a way. Its premise doesn't divert from a list of missions to go down and complete and doesn't use all of the 3DS's capabilities. But the feeling of freedom and peaceful music make for a calming playing-experience.- Gamer.nl

This game tries to unite two very different genres and succeeds a little bit by imitating Super Metroid. However, many elements feel very repetitive because you keep on seeing the same spaces and items.- Gamer.nl

The 3rd Birthday tries to ride the success of the Parasite Eve franchise, but doesn't manage to impress despite its stunning visuals. The clunky camera, over-average story and sloppy controls really undermine what would otherwise be a surprising, challenging and varied game.- Gamer.nl

Grand Slam Tennis 2 doesn't compare to the bigger tennis francises. Te career mode is strangely put up, and it doesn't pay off to specialize in one specific play style. The online modes and Classic-games keep it from being awful, but that's all there is to it.- Gamer.nl

Sniper Elite 3: Afrika has minor defects and because of these it does not leave a lasting impression, but otherwise the game is almost the perfect sniper game. The criticism of the previous sections has clearly been taken to heart; the game plays much better and provides more satisfaction than any installment of the franchise before.- Gamer.nl

Detective Pikachu is a fun game that combines Sherlock and Pokémon. There are a lot of familiar elements from the Pokémon games in there, that are a blast to recognize as a Pokémon fan.- Gamer.nl

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle is a remarkable game. Not because of its generic combat system, but because of the noticeable passion developer CyberConnect 2 has for the manga in which the game is based. It's a must-have for any JoJo fan; any layman who's interested should start reading the manga before playing the game.- Gamer.nl

A game developed by Double Fine isn't necessarily a great one, so it seems. Middle Manager of Justice's charming art and a few good lines don't compare to the technically better games in its genre.- Gamer.nl

Asura's Wrath proves how awesome anime can be, but at the same time also how ridiculous it is. With exaggerated quick-time events, absurdly long battles with bosses and a lack of actual gameplay make this the perfect translation from anime to a game. Unfortunately this doesn't automatically create a perfect game.- Gamer.nl

Screamride offers a fun concept that does not seem enough for a full game. Taking a ride in the many roller-coasters is fun and the tool to make your own rides is great, but Screamride misses the bigger picture; a theme park to put those roller coasters in, for example. Demolishing buildings with a catapult is odd and does not fill Screamride's entertainment gap.- Gamer.nl

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed could have been a great game, however it doesn't live up to its premise. The story and physics give a new dimension to the Star Wars franchise, but the countless technical glitches and shallow gameplay make this game a huge diasppointment that's not worth your money.- Gamer.nl

Mega Jump 2 is mostly more of the same. Who played the first game, will undoubtedly enjoy the second, were it not for the new options, that’ll do anything to bleed you dry financially.- Gamer.nl

The game was worth waiting for. The action feels like Robocop meets Rambo with a little extra. Furthermore Bionic Commando features some references to the old game that will give the veteran a nostalgic feeling. The storyline and non linear gameplay spoil the fun a little bit, but in the end the game does exactly what is expected: shoot, stomp and swing.- Gamer.nl

Red Faction: Armageddon contains loads of potential: it has delightful weapons and allows for amazing amounts of destructibility. This potential hardly comes to fruition though, as the game degrades itself to a claustrophobic and cliché-filled hallway-shooter. A few fun vehicle-sections and extra game-modes save this title from getting an insufficient grade.- Gamer.nl

Crackdown 2 is relatively short, but enjoyable. The game cannot hide the fact that there's been little change since the original. The story is non-existent, and the lack of variation in gameplay makes it even worse. Still, the orb-collecting is as addicting as ever and saves this game somewhat.- Gamer.nl

Sonic Frontiers really doesn't impress in any way. Behind the technical drama, the simple puzzles and boring combat is something of a blueprint for a good three-dimensional Sonic game, but then you have to search very well.- Gamer.nl

Fractured Soul constantly makes you switch between both screens of the 3DS to finish levels. Difficulty gets high quite fast, but having a lot of checkpoints and an infinite amount of lives limits frustration. It might not look great and enemies might just as well have been left out of the game entirely, but in its core Fractured Soul really works.- Gamer.nl

As a motorcross game MX vs. ATV Untamed would have been nice to play. But the quality of the game has really been lowered by adding vehicles like buggies and monstertrucks. These could better have been removed from the game. When it comes to graphics this game can't cope with its competitors. It's a disappointing feeling to have a game in your possession which feels like an oldy.- Gamer.nl

With the exploration of vast nature reserves in the form of all kinds of animals, Lost Ember offers an original way to tell a sensitive story. However, the visual finish is too rough and the gameplay too bland to really recommend it.- Gamer.nl

Because of the strong resemblance to its predecessors, Virtua Tennis 4 isn't very different from them, missing the much needed improvements. The isn't a follow-up , but more of a sidestep and can be considered more 'new' than 'better'. It's a blessing then, that all of this rests on the very enjoyable foundation of the previous instalments.- Gamer.nl

Lego Horizon Adventures is a new Lego success story, especially when played with a co-op partner. The game excels in its small-scale approach, and the humor and characters don't get old quickly. As a result, Horizon has become even more accessible, although this also means the gameplay isn't particularly deep.- Gamer.nl

Tales of Valor does something new for the CoH Veteran. But it's over in a blink of an eye. Thankfully, the game has some very interesting new multiplayer modes and gameplay tweaks that shouldn't be missed. And the same goes for the greenhorn that will have no problem in liking the old and the new content. But, for next time, please make a Company of Heroes that will last a little bit longer.- Gamer.nl

Sanctum is one of the most innovative tower defense games to date. The player discovers new play styles time and time again through a varied mix of first person shooting and placing towers. The cooperative mode makes the multiplayer last for a long time to boot.- Gamer.nl

The Vita has gained a full-fledged Assassin's Creed-game, which is a victory for Ubisoft, Sony and everyone who owns the handheld. Few concessions have been made to transform this adventure to fit in your pocket, which deserves praise but also leads to frustration. The open nature of Assassin's Creed doesn't always work well with the Vita, and the handheld specific-functions fail to utilize the Vita-options in an interesting way.- Gamer.nl

Firemonkeys and Electronic Arts prove that a good freemium game can be released without making players feel like they need to pay to win. Real Racing 3 also shows how pretty mobile games can get nowadays, and that smartphones have become serious gaming platforms. A must buy, although the term isn’t applicable in this case.- Gamer.nl
