The challenge is there, the rules have been correctly implemented, and things play rather well. However, part of the thrill in playing a board game that strongly involves negotiating with other players loses something when it is put into text format.

Worms 4: Mayhem has drawn me back in, revitalizing the gameplay a bit and throwing in a number of modes and customization options that'll have you blasting worms through the night. It's not an essential, but fans will want to worm their way into it.

The game feels pretty good, the presentation is killer, and the abundant extras will probably keep you busy until the next World Cup tournament unfolds.

The single player campaigns are a bit short, and we really wished there was a unit carryover and more transferable items to further compliment the RTS/RPG features, but Dragonshard has accomplished quite a bit with what they've done.

The developers managed to do an excellent job with its presentation and fans of the series will no doubt gobble up the anime footage, the items that can be purchased, and the numerous missions, but the gameplay is extremely sub par.

This is an extremely enjoyable blast fest that features a very slick 1940s presentation, a plethora of modes to check out, and plenty of real world planes to pilot.

The single player campaign is so challenging and engrossing that it's easy to forget about the game's shortcomings.

An absolute must buy, and I hope that the company releases another volume in the future.

    The multiplayer aspect is staggering.

While the gameplay is far from original, it is entertaining, especially when you're mowing down a field of gun-toting soldiers by blasting away, or launching a vehicle into a brigade like a missile. The side missions are loads of fun, too. It's just too bad the game's over too quickly, like a siesta.

While it may not be that fully complete in terms of history chronicling and emulating, it does manage to provide hours of fun on end- and at a $20 bargain price, no less.

The ability to create you own items and use your head to determine how to handle each situation is a nice feature. However, sometimes it's just easier to open fire and complete the level a lot faster and a lot easier.

The technical execution of virtually every aspect of this potentially great game is embarrassing beyond reproach. Even patched, there are a myriad of crashes, glitches, heinous load times and other bugs that should have never gotten past beta.

It's safe to say that Sly 3 doesn't expand on the series like Sly 2 did, as it feels more like an add-on adventure than a completely whole game in itself.

Best of all, however, the loading time is significantly improved, almost to the point that there really isn't any.

The developers failed to create any sort of balance, and even though the defensive intensity has been bumped up several notches this is still a run and gun basketball game.

I seriously dig this game's up tempo style, and this is still the only basketball series that makes playing defense fun.

The controls become significantly easier when there is a gamepad installed, as opposed to strictly using the keyboard and mouse. The camera issues can be frustrating at times, but do not ruin the game.

The game's definitely enjoyable but it does spread the player thin, and in all honesty it comes off feeling like I've done this all before.

The camera becomes a problematic issue, the voice work is about as desirable as using a cheese grater to get rid of itchy skin, and there's not much to delve back into once it's beaten.

Now THIS is how all adventure games should be made! Quantic Dream has developed an absolutely brilliant game for a genre that was on its deathbed. This sucker gave us goose bumps, sweaty palms... the works!
