AceGamezAnother masterpiece from the Yorkshire Tea drinking developers, another multiplayer hit from those flat-cap wearing geniuses.
-
At its core, Mayhem is a leaner, less confusing entry to the Worms universe than Forts Under Siege, returning the series to a time when worm-killing was simple and death came in the form of an exploding sheep.
-
Worms 4 Mayhem is the game that "Worms 3D" should have been. It is a much more polished product and even addresses some of the issues that have plagued Worms since its very first incarnation.
-
Few things in this world will compare to the sort of manic glee that arises from sighting an enemy worm, targeting it through a gun's scope, and then pausing to watch the intended victim cower in abject terror.
-
Awkward controls and unbalanced AI aside, this is still a Worms title at heart, so fans are sure to enjoy. One or two coats of polish are needed on the overall production, but there is plenty of fun to be had.
-
In the audio-visual department, the game shows how little it has matured since Worms 3D yet is still bearable, and the cartoony feel draws comparisons to Saturday morning cartoons.
-
I found that some of the controls were also rather horrid especially the first person aiming with some weapons.

BrianS.Aug 1, 2005This is a fantastic, and has cured all of the problems from Worms 3D. The enviroments are much more fun, and the humor is deliciously bitter sweet.
