The graphics seem mostly unimpressive despite some quirks, and the gameplay never really meshes. Only some online options and multiplayer goodies keep this from being completely imperfect.

While the difficulty level won't be for all gamers out there, it contains a great wealth of RTS elements combined with being able to rip through armies with your squadrons.

It's so cool to rip things apart with Magneto and Juggernaut. It's beyond resistance.

It's also a lot more difficult than its predecessor, so if you didn't feel challenged enough by the prequel, this version promises to bludgeon the hell out of you.

A couple of its core additions, namely its "shape stick" and its other glaring issues, bring it up short. That's not to say you won't have fun with it, though. Rivals Mode is more than worth the price of admission.

The game is fast-paced, but still not incredibly hard, so it is perfectly suited for kids.

This platform adventure stars the 800 pound gorilla himself and this title manages to stand on its own because of its unique design. Unfortunately, said design isn't good enough to make this game a must buy.

While Battalion Wars is a fun game for those looking to almost mindlessly blast their way to victory, trying to use any kind of strategy is difficult and troublesome thanks to the way the game controls.

It's actually quite a bit of fun in the few hours that it lasts, and has every bit of the Animaniacs' ridiculous humor poured into it.

Shaolin Monks redeems itself by not only keeping the tone of the series perfectly intact, but crafting around it a solid beat-em-up engine with moves aplenty, outstanding two player support, and cool little touches here and there for the avid MK fan. TOASTY!

Tecmo Classic Arcade isn't entirely loaded with winners, and some might question the bump in price up to the $30 range, but classic gamers will want to jump right in just to endure "Tecmo Bowl" in its finest form, as well as "Bomb Jack" and a few other favorites.

This is really more for people who might be looking for a different way to play The Sims 2 rather than simply adding to existing gameplay.

The crashes look as great as they always have, even with a little lack in detail here and there. The sound is plagued by some bad EA Trax picks, and, unfortunately, you're not able to play your own songs from the PSP.

In the year that has passed since Criterion redefined destructive racing with the insanely addictive Burnout 3: Takedown, they've hunkered down and done their homework, and the result is the even better Burnout Revenge, a game that doesn't just kick your ass, it hands it to you on a fine silver platter.

The presentation isn't perfect, but it fits the bill, and the fighting system has more longevity than I expected. Anime fans shouldn't hesitate getting into this Grand Battle.

The gameplay is refined better than before, the presentation is mostly sharp, and there's lots for hockey fans to do. Here's the Stanley Cup contender right here.

The game is a bit short if you try to breeze through it without doing any of the side quests, but when you take everything into account, it should take about 40 hours or so to complete.

Let's note one real missing item from this year's product- the ESPN license. This was a crucial addition to the 2K Sports title last year, as it allowed for an exquisite TV-like presentation and some of the best announcing in the business.

I just wish they cleaned up the small things, like character appearances or the computer's ability to downright own you on a high-stakes hand. Oh, well, the game still offers a solid hand, and at $30 no less.

Not only does the game look as incredible as ever, it also feels like a pure natural ride, and comes loaded with a slew of options both for the multiplayer and single player modes. Climax does with two wheels what most companies can't even do with four.

It's far from a disappointing cavalcade of games, as they'll keep you busy for hours, but it almost feels like a speedy effort through development, without actually delving into Namco's history. It's like walking into an arcade for five minutes instead of staying a couple of hours.

Nagging complaints aside, this is clearly the best WWE GameCube game that Yukes has ever developed, and to say that I was shocked when I first saw it would be quite an understatement. The entrances, the music, the finishing maneuvers, and the gameplay are just really tight.

A real crowd-pleaser of a game, offering tons of uncontrollable chaos and nifty, evolving gameplay to keep comic book fans and action gamers thoroughly involved. It's not a perfect superhero opus, but Ultimate Destruction is still ultimately fun.

I literally scavenged through this game for hours on end trying to find any type of enjoyment I could, and only found little moments of inspiration buried between the game's lack of personality, terrible presentation, and sad gameplay.
