Hi-Fi Rush is a well-crafted and, at its core, simple action-adventure, and as the game's style, humour and bubbly personality rub off, it's not hard to like this game.

A stable mobile adventure that mixes the Korean and Japanese styles of RPG without ever taking itself too seriously.

If you're looking for a handheld and rage-inducingly hard platformer for your iOS device, take this soda bottle from hell for a whirl.

The frantically paced stream of microgames is as fun as ever, and the option of creating your own games is nothing short of brilliant. The game creation tutorial is excellent, to boot.

Works splendidly on the PS Vita and fits the format wonderfully, as it’s only in the later parts of the game that missions last more than ten to fifteen minutes. The artwork is ludicrous, but other than that, this is a solid dungeon crawler.

It takes a little while to get going, but once it hits its stride, this clever Lemmings-inspired puzzle game will leave you glued to your dual screens. With 200 levels the longevity should be in place, and so we'll heartily recommend Mario vs. Donkey Kong to any puzzle loving DS owner.

Atomic Heart is not the October Revolution of video games. Most of the ideas, besides the unique premise, seem to be lifted from somewhere else, but that doesn't really matter as the basic mechanics are through-out and rewarding. Unfortunately, a host of smaller problems give the game a rough feel and keep it from realising its full potential. Still, if you love dense, atmospheric shooters or are hooked on the premise, then it's well worth taking a trip back to the USSR.

Winners Don´t Eat Meat - and they don´t pass a chance to waste some hours with retro loving friends on this charming pixel brawler. This is a trip down memory lane, with lots of great references to the games of the past. If you are looking for a new Castle Crashers then this might be it.

One of the best beat ’em ups/brawlers we’ve played in a good while, and the spectacular daemon beatings you’ll be handing out makes Foul Play well worth the price of admission.

A very scary and very effective horror game, that is guaranteed to give you chills and literally left us short of breath. Average story and voice acting and other small annoyances keep it from getting top marks, but we'll still recommend it heartily to all horror fans. Especially at the cheap price point.

This is Rare and Microsofts version of Wii Sports. It hasn´t got as precise control as Sports Champions or as great graphics, but it delivers on the fun part. Party Mode is an excellent addition to a solid line-up of disciplines.

Exactly as fast and colorful as the original. The sheer amount of content and gaming joy on offer here makes it easy to recommend.

While not being the prettiest girl in the class it has charm and tons of insane minigames made especially for the PS Vita. The gameplay is top notch and ad hoc mode is dead solid. If you are looking for a fun gorefest with tons of great gameplay look no further.

Tera delivers an accessible yet deep MMO experience with a fairly thin story, addictive combat and graphics that continue to impress.

And best of all: great gameplay, very funny (and immature) dialogue and a hell of a ride. Welcome to Shadows of the Damned.

Combining Minecraft-esque gameplay with a freemium city builder works surprisingly well. When you add fun mini-quests, puzzles and lots of social features the hours seems to fly, and the timers seem like less of an annoyance than usual.

Things have a tendency to gets low if you’re playing multiplayer with Diablo-newbies, as the inventory interface is rather slow. But once you’ve got it figured, Diablo III on console is an great experience and an excellent port, that even manages to dodge some of the issues from the PC version and adds a few new tricks. Well worth getting if you don’t own the PC version already.

To anyone expecting a poor dance game: yes there is dancing, it resembles Dance Central and the reason for it being in the game is explained by C-3PO as a corrupted file in the Jedi Archives. If that makes you cringe and abandon the game, then you will miss out on a great Pod Racer, a fun dancing game, a well made jedi campaign and other mini games using the Star Wars license respectfully. Recommended for all ages.

Destiny has been hyped to an extent that it cannot live up to that hype. It is not a great living world for the solo player, and it is bound to disappoint some players, but it is insanely fun for the social player. While PvE might be thin on story, it keeps getting more content. PvP though is great fun and easily among the best FPS experiences. The future looks bright for Bungie's Destiny.

Forza Horizon impresses, and not just with the high quality of almost all its facets or the sheer amount of content in the package. Where it really wins us over is in the pure driving bliss that too few racing games remember to include these days.

An intriguing and gripping story steeped in an atmosphere so thick you can cut it with a knife, coupled with a cool gimmick for the action sequences. Excellent while it lasts. Not a lot of replayability, though.

It’s like watching a great TV series. Out of the 12 hours you will only find about two hours of "real" gaming though, which might be too little for some. Insanely high production values, great story and good acting makes this worth getting if you want the best in interactive movies.

Dance Central 3 is the best Dance Central to date. It's not a revolution, but it's a safe buy regardless of whether you're already a fan or a newcomer.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a solid arcade racer, and although it feels a bit thin when it comes to single-player content, it more than makes up for it when you head online with your friends.

Mists of Pandaria is in no way a revolution and brings no radical changes to World of Warcraft. But tickles in all the right places, and does so with an energy that's hard to ignore. Forget the Kung Fu Panda jokes. This is at least the second best World of Warcraft expansion yet.

An entertaining effort, particularly in the company of friends. If you're playing on your own, though, it might seem just a little too sparse.
