Bound by Flame is a different and strangely addicting action roleplaying game. It is marred by a few bugs in the quest system though. While you wait for The Witcher 3 you could do much worse than this though. Recommended if you lust for a new RPG adventure with crafting, fun combat mechanics, interesting characters, less traditional dialogue and a great style.

If I worked at Gearbox, it would break my heart to see my dearest franchise abused in this way.

There's not a single reason to spend your time or money on this dilapidated adventure. You'll be much better off with Torchlight, Crimson Alliance or Dungeon Defenders.

Krater plays decently, and all the right ingredients are here. But it feels like the chef messed up in the kitchen, and combined them into a dish that may be worth eating, but is hard to recommend.

A lot like LEGO Star Wars without either of the licenses. It's still good fun, and very, very forgiving, meaning that its well-suited for a younger crowd. It's a bit short, but as you continually unlock new abilities, you can go back and explore previosly unreachable parts of levels you've already completed. And the seamless drop-in experience doubles the fun.

Having to manage your riders stamina and resources is an interesting twist on the racing genre, but you need much more than just a fleeting interest in cycling to enjoy this game.

Escort missions are rarely any good, but for some reason Namco Bandai has decided to release a game based just on that. The occasionally decent combat action is nowhere near enough to make up for the otherwise tedious gameplay, horrendous dialogue, awkward QTEs, ugly graphics and prolonged yet mind-numbingly boring cut scenes. Avoid at all costs.

Disappointing and uninspired. As a free advertisement game for the Riddick movie, it could have been okay, but at this price tag we’d rather spend our money on fast food, and that’s saying something.

Even though Neverdead has its moments of frantic action and fun ideas, badly implemented mechanics means the game will often test your patience.

Dead Block is decent if somewhat cheap entertainment, but it's hard to recommend given the dozens of other and better zombie games that are out there.

A decent take on handheld hack'n'slash entertainment, but we can't help but feel that Gameloft were in too much of a rush with this one.

There's no doubt hat the intentions behind Dragon Ball Z for Kinect were good, but once again it feels as if the Kinect camera's lack of precision has been an obstacle for the developers.

If it weren't for technical issues, such as the troubled controls and occassional coughs from the graphical engine, Garshasp could have been a decent copy of games like God of War, which we rarely see on the PC. But the game is filled with beginners mistake, and feels like a developer's first attempt at making a game, which is exactly what it is.

Duke Nukem Forever is far from perfect and certainly has its flaws. But it also has its moments, quite a few of them actually, and reminds us of happier times where shooters weren't as pompous and self-important.

Sad, boring and at times buggy beyond belief. The Aliens seem weak, the tension absent and even though the set pieces are great, the whole game feels bland. The last half of the game improves a bit, but by then you have already lost all faith. Mediocre at best. In space no one can hear you cry.

The idea of a sort of side scrolling Breakout clone is pretty neat, but punching your rubber ball hero Zip around feels more random than you'd expect from the otherwise precise Wii Motion Plus. You're likely to get a sore wrist from contantly flailing your arms around, and the gameplay lacks both variety and challenge. It does come with a WiiMote plus though, which is nice.

If you've gathered up a bunch of friends and you're all staring mindlessly at a Kinect-equipped flatscreen, you'll easily be able to squeeze out a few hours of fun and laughs with Hole in the Wall. But not much more than that.

It feels as though all creativity and imagination has been shunned during development, and the result is a load of lethargic combat with too many flaws and complete lack of the details and polish that define the best games of the genre.

Dungeon Keeper is an anti-game. It sucks the joy of gaming out of me and it has no redeeming qualities, not in the slightest. Calling it greedy would be understatement of the year. The already tarnished image of free-to-play could hardly receive a more devastating blow than that which Dungeon Keeper has given it. It eats at my soul every time I play it. And that's why I'll uninstall, nay, banish it from my tablet as soon as I've finished this sentence.

Zombie-filled races is a nice if not exactly original idea, but the developers haven't managed to turn it into an interesting game. The gameplay quickly becomes tedious, the car physics feel too light, the difficulty lacks challenge and frequent slowdowns mar the experience. If you're hurting for a Carmageddon sequel, this might sate you for a while, but it's no replacement.
