This addictive side-scrolling shooter is a pitch-perfect port of an SNES classic, and works tremendously well on iOS devices.- GamePro

Overall, it is a challenging and entertaining escape that you'll keep coming back to. And if you manage to join the 35 other elite players who finished on hard, remember to tell me how it's done.- GamePro

With crisp and simple graphics and ominous background music mixed with the groans of the undead, Stupid Zombies is a nice puzzle game to have on hand. My only problem was that tapping and dragging on the touch-screen often obscured the exact aim of my crosshair. Also, I found it to be a little tedious after a while, but the surprise of a particularly complex level was usually enough to keep my interest.- GamePro

Disoriented is an okay deal. It's got enough content to keep those who can get past its more frustrating levels occupied, and it's a unique concept that hasn't yet been done to death on the platform.- GamePro

Chicken Coup is pitch-perfect at its $0.99 price point. It doesn't have enough raw content to satisfy my desire for a real, meaty game to play for extended sittings, but as a quick, pick-up-and-play option it's fine. Plus, it's really pretty.- GamePro

Dirt offers a really cool and even moving story for the price of a bottled water. If you want a really interesting way to spend an hour, Dirt is more than worth your time and dollar.- GamePro

Is it worth the price of admission? Solving puzzles with Professor H and the gang will only set you back $5, which is a great overall value considering what you get. If you enjoy match games and are looking for something different, Jewel Keepers: Easter Island won't disappoint.- GamePro

Fight Drunk is sort of joke app, and although it should probably be free, I'm glad to have paid $0.99 for it. Kudos to GravitySensation for making me laugh.- GamePro

$2.99 for a portable version of a free web game doesn't sound too bad, but that better games exist on the iOS leaderboard shooter market (Geometry Wars or Alive 4 Ever if you're looking for a zombie fix) makes Zombie Wars a tough sell.- GamePro

Black Arms is a mixed bag. It has some nice features and offers a bit of old school charm, but it just doesn't go far enough. For gamers who love mindless gunplay and have a weak spot for on-rail shooters, Heavy Fire: Black Arms isn't a bad way to spend $5. But for everyone else, that coin would be better served by saving it for the next Black Ops or Halo: Reach map pack.- GamePro

3bot is a fairly unique 3D puzzle game with a great aesthetic and gameplay that's legitimately challenging, and at its rock-bottom price point it's an easy recommendation, especially if fast-pace puzzlers are your thing.- GamePro

A puzzle game that's unique, entertaining, and will keep you on your toes, Liight is just a flat-out blast to play. Don't let this inexpensive, fun WiiWare title slip through your fingers.- GamePro

When you buy Lilt Line you're essentially getting a full electronica album and a solid game for the price of a bottled drink and pack of candy. It's easily worth your $2.99, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, overlooked indie iPhone title.- GamePro

So while the campaign should only take you a few hours, a great deal of that completion time will be simply replaying particularly brutal encounters.- GamePro

Too challenging for young gamers and too kiddie for adults, this title just can't decide what type of game it wants to be. While it does offer some nice features, its uneven gameplay leaves Planet Fish cold.- GamePro

Sure the soundtrack and controls are a bit strange, but Sr. Mistu is one of those games that deserves to be played. It's pretty and sports a genuinely unique mechanic, which I thought was a lot of fun. After a patch or two, this has the potential to be really great.- GamePro

Sometimes a game can be a little too authentic. This is one of those occasions. While a dose of realism is a good thing in a game, My Little Baby takes it a little too far. Besides being a ton of work, infants also bring great joy, a feeling not experienced while playing My Little Baby.- GamePro

Word Searcher Deluxe offers a great value for fans of the word puzzle genre, but it's clearly geared towards a very specific clientele. With plenty of puzzles, a local co-op mode, and downloadable content, word search aficionados looking for a new way to play their favorite newspaper-to-arcade game should check this title out. Everyone else may find the game lacking.- GamePro

The running control scheme could stand for a little bit more precision tuning, and sometimes it's possible to force one's way through a level by randomly changing the gravity, but iJumpman feels like a game that should cost much more than it does.- GamePro

The nonsensical setup and steep difficulty makes this a game that wouldn't have felt out of place in an arcade 20 years ago, so it's a good thing that this is just a $0.99 App Store download; otherwise I'd be perpetually out of quarters.- GamePro
