One part of the game that had me screaming at my players like Bobby Knight, and wanting to choke them out a la Latrell Sprewell, was that they would box out effectively maybe one out of forty times, and have no opposing player near the ball as it drops from hitting the rim.- GamePen

In a move that shows the team’s dedication to the project, the game sees a slew of updates, even though the game is nearly a year old...The game runs beautifully with the only negatives coming in the obvious lag issues that tend to plague online games.- GamePen

You’ll have fun, and you’ll get a portable taste of gaming history that will remind you of why we’re doing all this fiddling around with these plastic doohickeys in the first place.- GamePen

I wasn’t wowed with the graphics or blown away with the gameplay, but it kept me in front of the monitor. If you enjoyed the first you’ll enjoy this one.- GamePen

Here’s the kiss of death for a racing game... I didn’t find myself liking one car more than another...All of the SSC machines feel like a variation of a bumper car.- GamePen

The voice acting is simply amazing. Unlike most video games, much of the voice acting is done by fairly famous names, including Joe Pantoliano, Michael Rapaport, Kyle MacLachlan... Each delivers some of the best voice acting found in anything animated, let alone video games.- GamePen

The campaigns, especially the economic one, can be insanely difficult. Much of it begins to resemble a puzzle to be solved than a castle to be built.- GamePen

No matter how you stack it, Kinetica plays like "F-Zero" and "SSX"’s evil offspring. Taking the best of both games, Sony has made a great genre slightly better.- GamePen

Even the early missions start out fairly difficult, and it only gets harder from there. These campaigns are not written for the novice player.- GamePen

Instead of a gourmet dinner, we get something heated up out of a can; it’s filling, it doesn’t actually taste bad, be we never get that feeling of satisfaction that comes from eating a truly great meal.- GamePen

I’m not sure what it is but this game is just so much fun, maybe it’s the lack of shooting games available nowadays or the inclusion of the foot pedal, but this game is just so much fun.- GamePen

NHL 2002 gives players amazing control, and pin point accuracy, while still leaving enough of a learning curve to make you come back for more than just a few games.- GamePen

Driving the Interceptor is really easy so even those who aren’t into driving games can pick this up easily. The graphics are nicely done and it runs pretty smoothly.- GamePen

A game that just does everything right. Story, pacing, graphics, gameplay—all of these combine artfully to make a gaming experience that supercedes any other game I’ve come across this year.- GamePen

It seemed like Midway wanted EVERYONE, no matter how bad they are, to be in the race. This might appeal to those who aren’t really good at this game, but it just takes away any skill needed to be a good racer and almost leaves it to blind and random luck.- GamePen

Unfortunately, there is one area in Arcanum that truly fails to hold up with the rest of the game—the combat engine. Combat is overly simplified and feels a lot like it was added on as an afterthought.- GamePen
