You’ll be glad to know that the flamethrower isn’t the only great weapon at your disposal. The venom, which is a devastatingly powerful chain-gun, is one of the most amazing guns I’ve ever had the pleasure to handle in a video game.- GamePen

It really does not matter what difficult level you are playing on, because regardless you will find that you throw far too many interceptions and intercept too many yourself. I played several games where the total number of interceptions in the game was 10!- GamePen

In terms of how it compares to other music games I play, Frequency is a nice little title that some people will find quite addicting. Like most music games, though, gameplay can be quite tedious.- GamePen

The graphics and sound are incredible, and it's obvious that this game has a lot of potential, if only the developers would utilize that potential.- GamePen

If you want beautifully rendered mountains and an awesome soundtrack, get Amped; if you want to actually have fun, get "SSX Tricky."- GamePen

The way NBA Live uses the controller is as maddening as watching Derrick Coleman squander enough gifts for two hall of famers.- GamePen

Replay value and game length should not and can not be interpreted from how many times it takes you to get through a mission because of the insane difficulty level. By the last few missions you are literally ready to tear your hair out.- GamePen

Perhaps due to its arcade roots, Crazy Taxi has always had a general lack of depth. It’s no different here on the GameCube.- GamePen

It's those two Saturn World Series Baseball games that All–Star Baseball 2002 is most like. However, it too is missing that special ingredient, and falls on its face more than it succeeds.- GamePen

The graphics are amazing - as in better than what you've seen on a PC. They are just incredible to look at and you'll drool in awe.- GamePen

It is the inability of a game of this type to compete with its spiritual predecessors that leaves us wanting for more.- GamePen

I hate Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder, I curse the day it was conceived and I wish a horrible holiday season upon all of those who were involved in it’s production.- GamePen

The most stunning aspect of the game, though, is the graphics and, especially, the animation. Everything is in meticulous 3D, from the map screen to the battles. In battles, though, is where the animation really shines.- GamePen

The A.I. is one of the worst parts of the game; computer players just stand around like they’re bored, including those on your team.- GamePen

The best part of the whole thing is, you become so comfortable with the controls that the movements feel like a natural extension of your body. You’ll find your self ducking your head every time a bullet whizzes by you during a gunfight.- GamePen

If a game’s success is measured by 4 am mornings with Red Bull leaking from your mouth, then Dark Summit is a keeper.- GamePen

A highly engrossing story told by a set of very unique characters that come to life with witty and intriguing dialogue. If you're looking for a game that doesn't focus too much on pretty cinematics, but rather, interesting plot development and engrossing gameplay then look no further.- GamePen

The largest problem with this game seems to be the difficulty. The end-game bosses are seriously some of the hardest I’ve ever seen in a fighting game.- GamePen

It's difficult to remember which tricks you’ve performed in a race, and which ones have yet to be done... It would have been nice to have stunts “reset” after a while.- GamePen

Perhaps most impressive are the stellar animations. I don’t want to exaggerate, but the animation is perhaps the best of any sports game currently on the PS2.- GamePen
