Rise of the Tomb Raider is a whole level above its predecessor. Almost every aspect of the game is executed better than it did in TR so what we have is the definition of a worthy sequel that establishes the revamped TR as a new gaming chapter in the industry. The only setback is the highly extreme enemy A.I. which leads to a havoc-like situations amidst several gunfights.

Instead of being inspired by the groundbreaking work of modern classics like Pillars of Eternity and Divinity: OS, Sword Coast Legends fumbles by trusting its gameplay mechanics to dumbed down hack & slash gameplay inspired by old MMOs.

Yet again we are offered a campaign that is short and lacking innovation, but at the same time the multiplayer modes alongside the greatly improved Zombies mode are a return to glory for the franchise.

Most if its initial problems of technical nature are now addressed and Trine 3 truly shines. It may be the shortest Trine to date, but its probably the most beautiful one.

Vermintide is actually a worthy successor to Left 4 Dead. If you can find some good friends online, just try the co-op mode and have fun. Just don't try it on your own with the help of the A.I.

It is essentially a tower defense game in its more simplistic form, something that is its bigger positive and drawback at the same time. It is extremely easy to build your kingdom and provide tense defense situations, but its simplicity creates many hurdles on the way those defenses could be constructed.

This is a simplistic albeit immensely entertaining game if you experience it with a friend. The demanding situations of the later stages will require your utter cooperation leading to exciting battles for survival. Being designed as a primarily co-op experience, though, you should prepare for a more dull and trivial experience if you approach it as a single player game.

Driveclub is now in a fine state with all of its launch problems almost forgotten. And at this point comes "Bikes" which offers even more pleasing and well implemented racing gameplay.

A superb ending in what came to be as a great story of well written characters. Now that the package is complete you will understand the greatness of this game.

Through a stunning revival of Victorian London, but also a damaged A.I. and stripped down gameplay mechanisms, Syndicate denies its Assassin’s Creed legacy and adds a boring chapter that just has to be played to move to the next one. No back story, no characters, no plot whatsoever. Unity failed to bring the series back to its trail, but at least tried. Syndicate doesn’t even bother.

When it comes to its technology Tales of Zestiria is a game tied to the previous generation of systems while at the same time it suffers from some camera glitches. On the other hand it has a fresh story, great characters that you care for, an exceptional battle system and so much content that will keep you close to it for days.

Even though some problems of the original version have been addressed, some new have emerged -like the camera issues. Nevertheless this edition is superior in almost every aspect and opens up its deep and finely crafted world to a much bigger audience.

After Kora, Platinum Games took a step further and delivered what can only be described as a "dream come true" for anyone who watched the first generation of Transformers on the TV during the 1980s.

Mad Max is a missed opportunity. The exceptional depiction of the Wasteland, the chaotic nature of the post-apocalyptic society, the excellent technical qualities and thrilling vehicle fights are held back by the mundane melee combat mechanics, the loose story, the repetitive nature of secondary objectives and the overall low-level challenge.

Another masterpiece by 343 Industries that retains and advances all those elements for which Halo became a beloved FPS series. While the perfunctory character of Locke could be described as a mishap the campaign nevertheless opens up exciting new prospects for the next installment of Halo. Moreover, the multiplayer remains as fresh as ever, especially due to the addition of the utterly enjoyable and hectic Warzone mode.

Τhere is a vestigial effort of modernization in Maiden of Black Water and there are some minor mishaps in the control scheme and the level design. However, Maiden remains a very satisfying horror experience with the iconic Camera Obscura and the charming mixture o Japanese Folklore and modern age Madness.

It really is just a "mixed bag" of a game because it doesn't know to which audience it refers to. It is never truly casual and certainly not a simulation game. As a result almost no one will truly be satisfied with what Kylotonn delivered.

The sequel from Roll7 could be easily dismissed as a repetition of the first OlliOlli, only under a new skin, but it would be too harsh a judgment. It may be too similar with the first one, but its gameplay remains fresh and entirely intuitive while the addition of manuals manages to bring an essential tool for combo built-up.

Cyanide’s latest installment is a step forward for the franchise, offering a clearer UI, smarter AI, better graphics, well-implemented rules of the original material and addictive competitive online gaming. While the main campaign is large, funny, and intuitive, the offline leagues and cups lack the polishing and necessary customization options.

Once more the third chapter of the long-standing series remained unsurpassed, despite its promising outset. It doesn’t take long for the campaign to reveal its weak structure and for the player to realize that the game exhibits a tedious army development system which slows the action to a crawl.
