The latest sequel turns the Slayer into a human tank, an unstoppable force against the demonic hordes, offering relentlessly challenging, non-stop action. id Software nails it with spectacular set-pieces and excellent level design in a fresh yet familiar evolution of the franchise.

This remaster is a great refinement of the already excellent original, The Last of Us Part II. Newcomers should not miss out on experiencing one of the best games released. Additionally, there is enough extra content to warrant a return for those who have already played it.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is the living proof of how a port of an aged title can redefine itself and can further be improved for the sake of releasing it on a new platform. The Nintendo Switch version has it all; the same haunting and emotionally painful story, visuals and audio that keep the players investing more and more of themselves, plus a new mode that finally enables two players to sit back and enjoy the tale of these two brothers.

An excellent HD remaster of the classic Wii game that features significant quality of life improvements, responsive motion controls and the addition of conventional, button controls.

Final Fantasy VII Remake walks in the shoes of the cult-classic leaving new footprints. Faithful in spirit, debatable for changes, this is a colossal attempt to retell the original story. Considering the legacy SquareSoft left behind, this is a job well done by Square-Enix.

Donkey Kong swings from tree to tree once again, straight from the Wii U to the Switch. An "ice-breaker" adventure that is welcomed from both new and old fans alike, it sets the rules for what a true platformer should be like. Old challenges return, but with a brand new, "Funky" addition, the game is set to offer tons of fun under a new perspective and should not be missed by Switch owners.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 took us by surprise. We expected a fun and interesting game. What we didn’t expect was one of the best JRPGs of this console generation. The story evokes a wide range of emotions, the characters are so well written it’s easy to grow attached to them, and the combat system is deep, offering plenty of options for party development. On top of that, the OST is nothing short of a masterpiece, elevating the entire experience. This is a game that proudly stands among the best in the genre.

This is the way Diablo III should have been from the very beginning.

Besides some "western" touches, 4A Games delivers a very special and almost flawless game which proves that Eastern European development scene is here to stay.

Realism in football games reaches its maximum.

The visual upgrades are superb and the gameplay hasn't really aged at all. This is not just a simple "HD update", it feels almost like a complete new Zelda game.

Playdead did it again and created a masterpiece which manages to surpass the masterpiece of Limbo in every possible way. We don’t believe a higher praise could be said for their second game.

Larian Studios did the impossible. They brought an old-school, unflinchingly hardcore, turn based, isometric RPG to today’s market, while making it as fresh as Baldur’s Gate felt all those years ago. It is the fantasy RPG of the decade and a guiding light in the darkness of modern conformity and simplicity that has plagued the genre.

Saying that Nioh is a “Souls clone” not only doesn’t do justice to a superb game, but can be quite misleading. Nioh stands on its own as a masterpiece from Team Ninja that reminds us the Ninja Gaiden glory days of the studio.

This collection of updated WipEout games is really proof of how these great games have withstood the test of time. Packed with content and with superb technology to back it up, Omega Collection is a must-have for fans of Sony’s futuristic racing franchise.

Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth is a truly phenomenal game, and such a high quality production that should be the new benchmark for JRPGs.

Rewarding patience and critical thinking, Mark of the Ninja is an excellent dark themed stealth game made by Klei Entertainment.

Simply put, this is the best FIFA game we’ve seen in years and a superb package that will keep you hooked for months.

The team at Visceral took everything the first game had to offer, vastly improved it and while they were at it, left out all that was bad. It'll scare the pants off of you, even piss you off occasionally, and you'll love it for that.
